Hello welcome sa forum. I don't think na shorter ang processing ng case na ganun just because they will give priority to it. I believe according to date received ang processing ng embassy. However, because your relationship is truly genuine, given the 2 kids as a big evidence, the decision making should not be too long, esp straight forward ang case nio.

Again, having canadian spouse and kids doesn't guarantee the priority.

Tama ka sis Iay Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residence ang sponsor ay pantay pantay ang process at ang trato ng CPC-M at CEM kasi pantay pantay din ang binabayad nating lahat CAD1,040 kahit may Lawyer or Representative ganun parin ang process pantay pantay nakalagay po iyan sa CIC website guide for sponsoring spouse . Hubby ko po Pinoy pero Canadian Citizen po sya matagal din bago ako nagkavisa . Kung matibay at diretso ang relasyon nyo at di mahaba ang Personal history, di lumabas at tumira abroad ang Applicant at Genuine ang relasyon nyo mabilis lang po ang proseso.

December 2, 2011 - "Application Recieved" in ECAS
December 2011 - Sponsorship Approval
February 2012 - Application Transfer to Manila
February 20sh 2012 - PPR (Passport Request)
February 23 2012 - Passport Recieved by Embassy
August 15 2012 - status changed to "In Process" in ECAS // Philippines Address displayed
Late August - Medical Expired
November 28 2012 - Request for Remedical through email
December 3 2012 - Remedical Completed
January 11 2013 - Meds tranferred to embassy according to clinic staff
March 7 2013 - Medical Results recieved / Address Updated to Canada
March 8 2013 - status changed to "Decision Made" in ECAS
Interview waived, still waiting to get visa

15months waiting time

i think spouse is faster from what ive seen....dont worry bout being unemployed, ganun din fiance ko nung sponsor nya ako, naapprove naman sya...need lnag na wala kang mga utang or government assistance

I hope you declared him as your common law partner when you entered Canada!

Indeed! To be clear 'missyani' Steph C is referring to 117(9)... that would exclude your husband from being sponsored as a member of the Family Class. So for your sake, we're hoping he was "declared" either on your application or when you landed.

sa akin nag print ako muhna then manual ko cya finil-upan,,,tapos noon ok na mga sagot ko print ko cya ulit at sa computer na ako nag fil-up...

So for your sake, we're hoping he was "declared" either on your application or when you landed. Either that or be very careful of the previous addresses you put on his application, ensuring that none of them match any of yours.

Yes, please be careful missyani! I know that in certain circumstances being common law while you are being sponsored as a dependent child can invalidate your PR.

Dependent children

A son or daughter is dependent when the child:

is under the age of 22 and does not have a spouse or common-law partner;
is over the age of 22 and has been continuously enrolled as a full-time student and depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22;
became a spouse or a common-law partner before the age of 22 and has been continuously enrolled as a full-time student and depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since becoming a spouse or common-law partner, or
is over the age of 22 and depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 because of a physical or mental condition

I really hope the one in bold above applies to you.
If you didn't declare him, you would have to go back, marry him and somehow prove that you weren't common law when you entered Canada.

Pwede namang MANUAL or COMPUTERIZED ang pag fill-up ng mga forms dipende po sa gusto niyo. Pero take note na may dalawang Forms na kailangan eh computerized sagutan kasi in the end kailangan mong i validate mga toh and maiproduced yung BARCODES nila specifically talking about;
