hello again!

Before we receive our visa, there will be a DM first in e-cas, right?

My father is running out of patience waiting for our visa since my mom received her PR card. Because my mom said that once she received her PR card, our visas will be already given to us..But here on forums, I read that there will be a DM first, then next is the receiving of visa.

I dont know where they got that information regarding the process.

there are some cases like that, i think ello is one of them, not really sure or other name, cant recall. he got his VISA and then DM, sometimes its delayed update on ecas. but will not happen to all...mostly DM first then you will receive your VISA

Tanong ko lang lalabas ba sa E-CAS kung natanggap n ng CPC-M ung application or ang unang lalabas sa E-CAS ay Sponsorship Approved?

yes may details po na nakalagay sa Ecas once na ma access nyo napo makikita po kong kelan nila natanggap and kong may pindala n cla sa inyo n letter and the status of your application...

there are cases that applicants will receive their visas before they got DM but not too often. In my case... I got DM on November 23, 2010... But today morning... the Canadian Embassy called me again and asked me if I receive my visa package from DHL. According to the man from the embassy... my visa was stamped on November 12, 2010 and they sent it via DHL Express on November 18, 2010... Supposed to be... it must be here last November 19, 2010... but now, it's already December 7 and I didn't receive it yet. So, the man from Canadian embassy gives me the tracking no. of my package and also gives me the DHL Express phone number in Cebu City. Then, I called the DHL Cebu and they told me that my package is at hold because they can't locate my location and they are having a hard time to reach the mobile number that the embassy provided. Anyway, they advice me to pick it up anytime that I can...

Glad i chance upon this forum with bunch of helpful and supportive people, i've been browsing the forum for the last couple of weeks and from the looks of it, im pretty sure that i'll be a frequent poster here as i have a lot of questions running over my head at the moment.

As this is my first post, let me share my case here, my wife is a naturalized Canadian citizen, We got married here in the Philippines last October and at the moment i was left with herculian task of filling up the forms and doing the paper works.

Im not sure if these has been asked before but being a certified newbie, here are are some of my questions.

1. I notice that the form that my wife ordered from CIC is not printed in A4 size paper as it is a bit shorter but wider, should i need to download a form specifically for a spouse sponsorship application, is it acceptable if i print it out using A4 size bond paper?

yes you can print it again or let your wife ordered it to cic whichever you want to do that's ok, no big deal.

2. In filling up the forms, is it allowed to fill it up using a combination of my own handwriting and at the same time using a particular application to fill up the forms in pdf?

for me, what i did whoever the applicant he/she will be the one to write...in this case let's read some other answers.

3. Pardon my ignorance on this one but i rarely see the form asking for the middle name, majority of which only ask for family name and given name(s). is the middle name negligible?or should i indicate it as well on the blank that ask for the given name(s) kindly clarify..

if the form asked for middle name then put it, it means they need it for your background checks...or anything else. in filling up the forms do not leave any blanks if no answer put N/A(not applicable)

what about you? kuha mo na ba visa package mo? what nga pala loc mo? if ur living in the city or in a hometown where DHL Express can reach u easily then makuha mo na agad un.... hwag ka mag alala... maybe today or next day... u'll have it... ung sa akin... bukas pa po ako pupunta ng Cebu City pra i pick up package ko... tapos... punta nalang din ako sa cfo for my cfo sticker... dapat makuha ko na agad bukas... sabi kc ng lalaking nakausap ko from embassy ay Very Urgent po un kc my visa will expire on December 23, 2010 so dapat I will land in Canada before Dec 23 po...

Oo naman... pwd nga pala tumawag sa kanila... DM ka na nga eh... here's the number again ... 028579000

Ay teka nga hentaznel... me i-share nga ako sau... my hubby had a back and forth ticket for Dec. 19 = arrival sa pinas then jan 4, 2011 departure for canada... and he's very excited and so ready to come here again and to spend xmas with my family. he's well-prepared pro super disappointed nga xa eh... akala kc nya... mgkasama kami pumunta sa canada on the 14th January pro my visa expiration is dec 23, 2010 at sabi ng lalaki sa embassy na nakausap ko na hindi daw pwd sa jan 2011... so, my husband cancelled his plane tickets and pay for penalty... hahaha por hubby.

tama ka nga Earal... like my case too... I got dm 23rd nov. pro the canadian embassy called me and informed me that they sent my visa package last 18th nov... at dapat din nakuha ko na last 19th nov.. pro until now ala pa po... ngkaproblema kc taga dhl to locate my loc... kaya bukas... ako na mismo kukuha package ko sa dhl cebu city...

hotline ba un or may sasagot na pwedeng makausap talaga.
ala nag penalty narin huuby ko kasi super excited siya nag book siya for dec 8.. nagpenalty siya ng 90 dollars
sige sana magkasabay tayo ng flight
hehe tas magkasakayan tayo hehe

actually po Nov.23 that was tuesday pero late update po sila ng 2 days and may nabasa din po ako d2 sa forum na everyday nmn daw po ang update according to mathewc, nag sign up ako sa ecas.croll nag register ako once na maka receive ako ng email it means na my new update sa ecas so no need to open evryday ako kagabi nagising lang ako sa beep sa email kaya 2am ng mareceive ko ang email from ecas ok nga eh.

hi kabayan nag signed up ka din pala sa ecas tracker by matthew same with you kaya lang natakot ako kaya pina remove ko sa kanya yung filed ko actually wala naman ako nabasa against him kasi yung iba tamang duda lang wala naman proof lahat nga ng nabasa ako very thankful sila kc they found ecas tracker just want to ask kung may bad experience ka Thanks
