i got my visa last june 5 and another applicant from January got his this week also. my home address in ecas changed to my husband's canadian address last last friday. sunday, i got a DM status. tapos thursday i got the visa na.

Im a newbie here, ask ko lang. Ok lang ba na hindi ilagay ang middle name sa IMM 008?

Kung ano ang nakalagay sa iyong travel document which is your Passport dapat ganun din ang ilagay mo. Ako ganun ang ginawa ko kung ano exactly ang nakalagay sa Passport ko ganun din nilagay ko sa lahat ng forms or IMM 0008 Generic Form don't forget to validate it.

Wow Congratulation nakakainggit ka naman January 2012 applicant ka but there you go you finally finished the waiting game. And you got your visa June 5, 2012 nun palang nag start processing at "In Process" ang status ko sa ECAS. Hay naku case to case basis talaga.

Anyways Congatulation parin .... Pero happy ako for you at may mga nakakatapos at nabibigyan ng visa at nadi DM.

Yes, since it is your permanent address, you can use it anytime at all.
If you apply for visa prior to going to Dubai, then your soon-to-be job in Dubai should not be part of your employment history.
However, if you apply for a visa while you are already working in Dubai, then it should reflect on your employment history that you are currently working in Dubai up to present.

That is how I see it. Just my two cents.

thanks livelife for the input. ang concern ko lang is i`m planning to use my address here in the philippines as my postal address if ever i`ll start working in dubai, i don`t know if somebody in this forum had done this. takot kasi ako it will jeopardize my employment if i use a company or accommodation address. this job is my backup plan, feeling ko kasi ang tagal nang processing sa CEM plus my annulment is ang tagal din and mine is not a straightforward case. i should applied sa FSW kaya lang we decided to apply sa family class. parang feeling ko tuloy i made the wrong decision (emo hehehe). plus i told my husband to be, hirap pala maging certified general accountant (CGA) sa Canada punta na lang kaya ako ng US, nagalit eh.
@sis emrn and all the rest of the 2011 applicants i hope you will get updates very soon.

CPA or CPA with MBA ka man sa philippines it has no bearing pagdating sa Canada, i still have to take the bridging courses and take the qualifying exam to have the CGA designation, pantay pantay lang tayo pagdating doon. i don`t mind working to survive as long as kasama natin ang ating mga spouses.

correct basta kasama na natin mga spouses natin kahit ano pang work ok na lang hehehe anyway meron naman yata weekends yung school eh. ako din I have to take the bridging course I'm an RN 8 units na lang MN na ako pero sabi ni hubby useless daw yun sa Canada so hindi ko na natapos

Hindi about kung anong applicable case po. Depende lang kung willing kang puntahan at magtry kung ibibigay yung visa or sabihing babalik to pick it up. I'm talking here kung DM na ha.

Kasi ako before pumunta dun, hirap papasukin sa loob kasi strict mga nasa information sa CEM. Pero kung strongwilled ka talaga, bibigay din sila. Nakapasok ako dun nung sinabi ko approved na yung visa ko at my booking na ako

Intay intay pa tayo ng konti fellow 2011 applicants. Nagpo-focus na ang CIC sa Family Sponsorship applications at gumawa na sila ng aksyon para ma-eliminate ang backlog sa category na to by putting a pause on accepting FSW (federal skilled worker) applications for 1 year. Next year na ulit magtatanggap ang Canada ng applications under FSW at in effect ito sa lahat ng provinces sa Canada EXCEPT Manitoba. Kaya konting tiis na lang guys! Malapit na malapit na!

Note: As of July 1, 2012, CIC will temporarily stop accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will likely start accepting applications again when the revised FSWP selection criteria take effect. Proposed FSWP changes should come into force in early 2013.

Last year po kami nag apply, last year din po ako dumating ng canada.

Once my Decision Made na ang CEM with your Permanent Residence Visa Application, pwede ka nang mangulit sa CEM. And kung malapit ka sa CEM, try mong puntahan. Bale medyo diskartehan sa entrance sa my Information ng CEM para papasukin ka sa taas. Kasi pag di moh sila ma-convinced, papa-fill up-in ka lang ng form dun for your inquiry. Kaya you have to emphasize na approved na visa month:n and naka booked kana.

And pag dipa DM try wag mangulit sa CEM. Pero kung lampas na ng processing time yung application nyo at dipa DM, then ask your MP's help. God bless

i just read na hindi namag aaccept ng old forms ang CPC ..my hsbnad just snet our family class application yesterday using the old form and his sponsorshipapplication using the new form....oh my God ,.. if they gonna return it soon coz of that another reason to hold back n nmn being together....is there anyone who tried ubmitting anoldformand went trhough smoothly with noprobems..just asking coz im still hoping it will be ok... thanks and God bless us all..

I think meron forum member na ganyan nangyari pero binalik yung application nila at sinabi sa kanila na gamitin ang bagong forms.
