PDOS is a mandatory seminar for those spouse who are PR..
so after you receive your visa you need to attend the seminar @ CFO unless your sponsor is a CITIZEN another seminar is needed..

Hi there everyone. I just wanted to ask kung mas mabilis ba ang processing ng filipino couple compare to canadian -filipino couple? Meron ba dito said foru :-\m na canadian talaga (caucasian) ang spouse/sponsor? If meron, paki share naman ng timeline. Lalo na said mga nagkavisa na canadian-filipina couple. Para may basis lang.mabalis yata if both filipino/filipina couple. Thanks.

filipino couple is faster than foreigner-filipino unless the foreigner-filipino have no red flag like their age gap is not so high or maybe the applicant not travel other countries or it can be the length of the relationship that they know each other(if no red flag it can be approved for 3-4 months only)thats my observation..

PDOS by the way, is a requirement of the Philippine government so the Canadian embassy has nothing to do with it, and you can take it anytime.

Is there any one here who's lived in another country? I lived in another country and I'm worried that will extend my timeline. Have you heard of instances where the police clearance requirement from another country was waived?

immigration office, manila visa office. then yung national identity document mo, ilagay mo yung passport details mo. good luck

dba may passport details na before nung national identity document? so un parin ang ilalagay ko?

guys, any suggestions. paano niyo ba sinagutan ung mga details about ur wedding doon sa IMM5490? did u actually gave the exact numbers of attendees and their names? or those lang na close relatives ang papangalanan? hilong hilo na ako, ang hirap pa man ding mag construct ng english hehehe..

just say the important let say i had 100 attendess including my family,bro and sis with their family friends, friends of my parents and relatives,,if u have special attendees galing sa canada or iba bansa you can site their name which is related to ur love affair.. kasi kami sa wedding namin 9 umatin na taga canada. my sis also umatend with her son from europe just for that special event mahal pa naman pamasahe at makakuha ng holiday. if u held it at church u site the address also then afterwards the venue followed wat place also with address...if u want the activities in ur wedding but kami hindi na kasi hindi na kasya sa box. kong mag separate paper pa ako baka mawala lng.. hope it can help pero depende lng yon sa inyo

Wala yata tayong National Identity document dito sa Pinas, eh. I just left mine blank, which was the advice I received on this forum a few months back.
