So you only took the 2nd medical exam and did not ask to re-submit a new NBI clearance? As I know, NBI clearance also has an expiration. Im not sure though if it is 1 year or 6months.

yes. i wasnt asked for nbi clearance anymore. i guess if the papers have been reviewed and medicals expired before they were able to issue the visa then re-take nalang ng medicals and no need for additional documents. august last year they asked for additional documents from us and nbi clearance was not part of it either.

Wala naman tumawag sa akin prior to this. In-process ako sa ecas started Nov. 24, 2011. Then nong december nakareceived hubby ko ng letter from the embassy na need to pay for my landing cost. and last Jan. 24 nagDM na stat ko. And today is a big surprise!!!

if i may ask, ano validity ng visa mo considering na expired ang medicals?

thanks!

btw, congrats!

my medical was expired Jan.2 but my ecas status is DM already. I am worried now.

@raniloc, @narice21
Just spoke with clinic DMP, they made a typo on our form A the date should be Feb 3, 2011.
They said that they sent to CEM Feb 17 when all tests complete because they have to wait for lab results.
We asked them is date valid for 1 year from the day Embassy receives it or date medical was done.
They will check and call us back.

This is a good question... :) Narice21's case seems out of the ordinary cases... :o :o Normally, the visa expiration is on the date the medical will expired. However his/her case proves us otherwise.... Is the expiration of the medical on the day it was taken OR the date when the CEM receive it??? ::) ::)

Im very curious to know the visa expiration date of Narice21.... :-X :-X

Hi to everyone,

I am a new guy here, google happened to show this forum in my searching for an answer to our doubts. My wife is Canada and I am here in the Philippines, below is our timeline..it's almost 2 "tyears" of waiting now :'(

Feb. 2010 Application Submitted
Oct 2010 Application Package received @ Manila stated 15 months of processing time
Apr 2011 Wife Interview @ Canada
Jun 2011 Received CSQ
Jan 2012 Waiting for further instructions
Jan. 30, 2012 - E-Cas mailing address disappear
Feb. 2012 - ????

It's already 15 months have passed from the time they have received my application but up to now, I haven't got any updates. Last Jan. 2012(1st week), I went to the embassy(makati) personally and fill up an enquiry form and they did reply to my email saying that due to significant inventory of application for review they haven't seen my application yet and they told me that it is still in the normal processing time. Well I presume, when you say 15 months, isn't that everything are already done, the medical and others?

But we are still hoping for a good things to happened, if I may ask, what would be the next step to out timeline/status?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Albert
