Hi there. I need your advice. My application was acknowledged on 15th oct,2019. I have done bio, sent police clearance, and they requested additional documents which i sent too.
Till now i haven't received medical papers. But just today got email that i have to go for an interview and they will let me know time, date and venue later on.
Is this a red flag? Or normal? Im really worried. This is an outland application sponsoring wife and 1 daughter aged 7years.
They usually ask for interview when they aren’t quite believe the marriage is genuine. Do not panic! Gather all your proof, and wait for their email. Did you receive your SA yet?

Where is the principal applicant from? Is this the second marriage for both of you? or second sponsorship for the Sponsor?

Not normal. Order GCMS notes ASAP, as they are quite delayed.

Yes, that is absolutely true but as we know, immigration sometimes refuses cases based on bogus reasons. If the PR in question had sponsored his spouse for PR and immigration finds out, possibly when trying to contact him that he has actually been outside Canada for the last few months, they will likely deny his application based on him not residing in Canada. Legally he might still be residing in Canada and of course he can appeal but I'm only saying, maybe you are better off trying to avoid having to appeal. It is safer to make short trips only so that the visa officer will have no doubt that the person is residing in Canada and not leave it up to the visa officers definition of how long you can be away to still be considered a resident.
As long as when you mailed your document you prove that you live in Canada that will be ok. I have been waiting for my husband to be approved for over 2 years, so I have been taking 2-3 months trips to visit him. My mailing address is in Canada and I did all my taxes in Canada. If you would like to travel to visit your loved one, even stay until you get an answer, it shouldn't be a problem.

You could ask your husband to send you a scan picture taken recently and get it printed at london drug and write at the back the photographer shop name and date

Incorrect. Apps can and have been refused for the PR sponsor staying out of Canada for a few months.

Hi,

I had some trouble filling out the IMM5532 RELATIONSHIP INFORMATION AND SPONSORSHIP EVALUATION form for my spousal sponsorship application. I tried extensively to find answers to the situation but couldn't find a proper solution.

So here's the scenario - My wife is also my first cousin from my mother's side and she lives in South Africa and I lived in India all my life until 2016 and then I moved to Canada. I don't remember exactly but we first met in around 2007 as kids when she was visiting India with her family.

My questions are:

1. How do I answer the following question to explain that we are related as first cousins?
what kind of relations(parents, in-laws etc) should I mention in the answer and how many relatives do I need to list as we have a lot in common?

PART B- Q.1 of the IMM5532

. Before this relationship, was your sponsor related to you in any way? e.g.
· Your sponsor was related to a member of your family.
· Your sponsor's family member was related to you or a member of your family.
Yes No

If yes, give their names and relationship to you or your sponsor, as applicable (including previous in-laws or spouse, etc.).

2. What date do I provide for when was the first time we met as it when we were kids and had no relationship or anything and also do not remember the exact date?

PART B- Q.1 of the IMM5532

1. When was the first time you met in person?

- Date (YYYY-MM-DD) Where?
- Describe the circumstances of your first meeting
- Did anyone introduce you? No Yes ►
- If yes, who introduced you?

Thanks in advance for your help, will really appreciate the answer as I have been stuck on this for many days now.

Are you sure? your scan will be stamped at photographer shop name and date when the store didn't take your photo? And you didn't present in the store as well, that's big gap.

1. You just give the truth. List immediate relatives and explain you're related to everyone.

2. Again, truth. You don't remember, so explain that.

Guys the spouse sponsorship requires the 50mm x 70mm photo, they never specified how many photos to send them ? is 1 enough ?
