When you sponsor your spouse and are in between jobs or a full time student, will you be refused>?

No you just have to give evidence of how you will support them

Hello everyone,

I applied through Spouse sponsorship, and send my OWP to CPC Vegreville. Any idea when I will get my application no.
How many days they took?

The OWP is usually processed within 4 months.

Yes, it's very likely that they are asking for the Schedule A. Be sure to check your junk mails also. If you still don't find it then contact IRCC

Via the call centre that is.

is there any email, where i can send my schedule A form to cic. Still i can not see correspondence request on my link account because of technical fault.

I'm wondering if there is any "rule of thumb" for time lines when it comes to processing applications? I sent my application in October 2016, I got my Certificate of Selection for Quebec in December and my OWP in March. Then in April I received an email asking me to send copies of my police certificates. So the next day I phoned CIC to ask about this as I had already submitted these with my application and they told me it is a generic email that they send out to all applicants (which I hope is true).
Now when I check my status online it says application received October 3rd, medical records received (but no date next to it - even though i attached them with my application so they received them in October as well).

Does anyone know from experience how long the PR application should take from the point that OWP is received, even if just approximately?

Also, I have seen online now that applications sent after December 7th from inland (which is what my application was) are now estimated to take 12 months. Does this mean that they are being given priority over applications received in October or November for example? Because online it still estimates 26months for inland applications before this date? I hope this isn't true... :(

Any help would be great

if there anyone who got immigration officer personal visit back home ?

Also, who ordered the GCMS Notes and under eligibility it says "REVIEW REQUIRED"

Is the information in this post still applicable. There have been a lot of changes since the liberals reviewed the process.

Do outland and inland apps still get treated differently if they are going through the same online application procedure? Specifically regarding the right to appeal.

Just writing to see if anyone else applied at a similar time and has gotten the OWP or any other communication?

Application received : September 2016
Application being processed as of October 2016

They requested a Police certificate beginning of May 2017

No OWP received or any other requests or communication, I see people on the forum receiving the OWP after 4 months or earlier

Anyone can enlighten us on the processing times? It's been over 6 months and we have no information from them about anything.

Any help is appreciated :)

They're trying to process applications in the orders they were received anyway so, if applied October 2016.. approximately 13.5 months it will be concluded in (based on how it's been going for most people) however its much less than the 26 months. Their aim is for 12 months.

Yes, outland is still usually much faster.

It is normally processed within 4 months. Feel free to contact the IRCC call centre to find out the reason and be sure to send any documents they request asap.
