When you click on the linked application, it takes you to application details which shows you what's happening with the app. At the bottom of that page there is a blue 'view submitted application' button. Have you clicked that? It will take you to a list of whatever has been requested with an upload button beside each one. The schedule A should be there.

Yes i clicked that there is only one form they asked that is use of representative I uploaded that i cancelled my representative and there is no other option to upload schedule A form. Dont know when and if they gonna update my account with scheduleA requirement.

If I link my application, am I still gonna receive email updates from MnlImmigration?

Some e-mails will go to you, some to your spouse. Some will end up in your junk mail folder.
I actually received no messages on my linked account.

In any event, ECAS always has the most up-to-date info.

Hey I received my application number and UCI
Can CIC still return our application?

I made another thread about this, but maybe I'll get more visibility if I ask here.

Form IMM 5532, Part C, Question 7 states: Do your close friends, family and children know about your relationship? Yes / No
So we would put Yes, because pretty much everyone we know, knows about us.

It then asks to give details, stating: Family Name, Given name(s), Are they related to sponsor or principal applicant, relationship to sponsor or principal applicant, date they met sponsor or principal applicant.

What seems really confusing to us, is that all these columns say "sponsor or principal applicant" so it wouldn't be clear as to who we are referring to.

Where it says "Are they related to sponsor or principal applicant" would we say "Yes/No" or indicate "Sponsor" or "Principal Applicant".
Where it says "Relationship to sponsor or principal applicant" do we just randomly choose? I guess it would be obvious when referring to our parents.
For that same one, if we want to add mutual friends we had put "Friend of Both". Is that ok? or is there some other way we should word it?
For the last one "Date they met sponsor or principal applicant", again who should it refer to? Would we put the date I met her parents, or the date she met her parents (at birth) <-- that one seems like it makes no sense. For mutual friends, which date would we put? when I met that friend or when she did?

If anybody could help I would really appreciate it. I think this is the last hurdle for us. It just seems really ambiguous and confusing.

Hi need help .

I just got a email from CIC SAYS:

Dear,*** sponsors name *****
"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 21/march 2017"

I'm the sponsor Canadian citizens and I'm sponsoring my wife for permanent residence.

Why is it saying they got my application for permanent residence for sponsor
Shouldn't this email be for my wife coz she is applying for permanent residence?

That's probably just a foul up at their end. The letter should be addressed to the applicant (the non-Canadian).

If sponsorship approval comes through addressed to your partner, then either you put the wrong names in the wrong boxes or they've mis-assigned them. If later communications are correct, that was likely just a minor error.

I have a few questions about the new application package. All and any help is welcome and greatly appreciated.
My husband is sponsoring me and my dependant child. I am currently living in Canada with my husband.

Here are my questions:

1. I had apply to extend my stay as a visitor. I have not received a response about my application. Only a letter of confirmation. Do I include this letter in my application for PR.

2. Who are considered family members? Can my grandmother and uncle be included in the application to come to Canada?

3. It state that I should include all family members birth certificate. Does this mean aunts, uncles and cousins too?

Hello everyone, for the medical form(IMM 1017), it is mentioned in the instructions to bring along four recent photographs. The size of the photograph is not mentioned anywhere so does the photograph size has to be passport-size or a different dimension, such as the photograph attached in the spousal visa application, that is 50 mm x 70 mm?
Please kindly respond. Thank you :)

First check in the place that you will do the medical exams if you need the pictures. Some places will take the picture by themselves

There is absolutely no need to wait for the extension to be processed.

Your plan doesn't involve a work permit (at least, not from what you've said). If you apply inland, you can apply for a spousal work permit while you wait (you must both be in Canada when you apply). If you apply outland, you cannot apply for a spousal work permit. You might be able to get a different one, but in that case it wouldn't be relevant when you applied, and speeding it up would be completely separate from your PR application.

Hi Bcboundboy

Thank you for your reply, I'm still trying to make sense of everything 100%.

So if I apply outland now and then enter the country as a visitor, could I then apply for an open work permit inland or is this generally not possible due to the application being outland? I've also checked the cic website and it says that you can apply for both at the same time, so would both be possible from outland?
