There are no co-signers for spousal, just write "N/A" for those questions.

You should post your question to one of the skilled workers sections of the forum.

hello there
i am a permanent resident of canada but i am currently unemployed
so do I need to have a job to sponsor my spouse from india???

I believe you need have make a minimum of $22,000 per year to be eligible to sponsor? I am not 100% sure but the info is on the cic website

Hello folks,

Can we start the process of sponsoring after the court marriage?
in my country, the court marriage is performed first and the final ceremony is done later (sometimes after 4 months).

thanks.

No - you don't. There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor a spouse.

hi I am just about to sort out photos for our application and we are almost ready to go... my question is I ordered prints for visa purpose as I was ordering photo prints anyway, how do I attach them? Do I glue them on a4 paper with description who/where/what is happening?

I am worried now as I see most people print digital ones and my printer cant handle it lol!

You can submit loose photos (we did) and for description I just printed info on labels and placed them on the back. I didn't include long descriptions just as example my labels were ;

Hello everyone,

I am filling out an app for a relative but I wanted to make sure I don't make any mistakes.

On the generic application form 0008 where it says *how many family members including you are in this application¨? what do I put?

My relative is married with no children in the marriage but the wife the applicant has kids from a previous marriage. All of them are married so it is just her being sponsored.

Hi Everyone!

I have scoured the forum and couldn't find the exact answer to my, likely, stupid questions.

I am a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my husband, we have no dependents/children.

1. IMM 5406, checklist states: "You and each of your family members 18+ must complete their own copy of this form"
Does this mean both he and I have to fill one out separately? (2 forms) Or is it just him that needs to fill it out?

2. IMM 008: Application Details Q3
"How many family members including you are in this application"
Should he put 1 or 2 in this section?

Sorry, the wording is just a bit confusing for me :)

Thanks in advance for your help!!

1: The sponsor does not have to complete this form, only the applicant.
2: One.
