Means your application has been received by the visa office.Then u will get file number and UCI to check ur status.
SA-sponsor approval
Means u r approved as sponsor then ur file will be transferred to the VO.

She will need to complete an x-ray in order to pass the medical and complete the application process. Most doctors recomment against having an x-ray done while pregnant - however it's ultimately up to you.

I understand..so what is a better way for me to sponsor my spouse?..i will sponsor her after she give birth?or can i already apply her while she is still pregnant so that we can maximize the time of waiting..

He was abusive to me when he immigrated to Canada and in 2009 I had to call 911, he was charged by criminal charge( assault) at that time but never went to jail. Can he sponsor his spouse now? (considering the fact that he was charged by criminal charges in 2009)

Was he convicted (since you said that he did not serve any jail time)? If so, what was his sentence?

He can be deported and lose his own PR if he has been charged and convicted of assault. Because he is not a Canadian citizen, a crime that he committed after becoming a PR (especially something as serious as assault against his wife) makes him now inadmissible to Canada, since 10 years have not passed since the end of his sentence (whatever it was)...even if he's already in Canada.

My wife as my sponsor is currently in Montreal and she already sent sponsorship application on 5th April and was received by CIC on 8th April and yesterday the AOR is received and waiting for SA. My question is that my wife should reside during the whole process of sponsorship in Canada if everything goes well till finally I get my visa? We have filed our application as outland.

I am a US citizen waiting for my application to be processed since Sept 2014. I came to Ottawa Nov. 2014, went back to NY to visit 12 days and came back. I have been here as a visitor ever since.

She can stay here as a visitor as long as she keeps her status up to date. If the application takes longer to process than the time she can legally stay as a visitor you will have to file for an extension to her visitor status. Since I don't know what country she is from I can't go more into detail but that is pretty much the idea.

hi picture means you and your husband with your family ok...to show that you and your husband or whoever the sponsor is close or know to the family of yours....not photos of every family..it is one family in one photo something like that.it is to show that marriage is genuine and know to all....
