It has to be filled by you (Applicant) and your Sponsor. Why do you have to fill this form too it is because you need to fill your name and your date of birth on the top of the page 2 until page 7, then you and your sponsor have to sign the page 7. That is what i could understand.

If you were lawfully admitted to the UK for more than 12 months, you could have requested processing through the London office and the interview would have been done there (if an interview was required).

My understanding is that Bangladesh is an example of a country where the CIC officers actually do "field interviews" - they travel to a location in Bangladesh and schedule multiple interviews there over a course of days or weeks. Such interviews are only conducted periodically and you will be notified of the time and location of the interview. If you cannot make that interview time, you will need to reschedule with them and you may need to wait 6-12 months for another interview - depending upon their frequency of visiting for interviews.
Hi computergreek ....
Yes I was legally allowed to stay in uk since 2009 and I got legal residency till end of 2014..my all uk resident permit copy ,uk PPC ,Bangladeshi PPC everything I attached with my file..when CIC emailed my husband that he is approved to sponer and our file will send to Singapore visa office soon,he went to ottowa embassy with our file num tht our file supposed to send uk nt singapore...they said we have to email CIC or call them..so he emailes and called but after 3days I got emailed from Singapore that they received our file and medical as well...
We really wanted that our visa office will be London cz it takes 6-8manths where Singapore takes 24 months...but we could nt ve make any change about that...
Now I m worried that if I need to attend an interview then I ve to travel again to Bangladesh that I really dnt want.... :( :( :

Medical results have been received.

We sent you a letter on February 5, 2013 to xxx xxx xxxx, about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

Is that a good sign?im so stress right now,to know what is the decision.Omg,I hope I get a good news.Im so stress because a decision made so fast, right after 2 months of receiving my medical exam :(.Please let me know what you think about this.or anybody :(

Thank you so much,I hope it is.

I agree. Refusals generally come slowly (or right after an interview) but an approval two months after your medicals is almost exactly right - they just needed your medicals and you're done.

Generally, you have some sign BEFORE a refusal that something is wrong - because they have to give you an opportunity to address their concerns.

It is appalling that given your legal status in the UK, CPC-M decided to send your file to Singapore instead of London.

So if given a refusal it is possible to address the concerns and then be given permission?

Well, technically, that's what an "IAD appeal" does - it addresses the concerns and they then send it back to the visa office for reconsideration. It's also possible to ask them to reconsider by sending a request to the program manager. The third way to "address the concerns" is to obtain Judicial Review of a refusal.

For inland applicants, only the last two are an option. For Outland applicants, all three are an option, though most people go for the IAD appeal.

CIC will almost NEVER respond to anything you send them after a refusal because doing so resets the clock to appeal.

Hi
On January 28 I send an application to Ottawa regarding the FOSS note
I got a letter from CIC Ottawa yesterday, they said they couldn't find my file
I am sure I fill up that application with my client ID and email it to them.

So in this case what should I do? Do I have to resend it??
Please help...I sponsor my husband more than three years now. No result

Note- do I have to pay $5 for ATTIP??

Do you have anything with your name and UCI or file number on it? If so, I'd send along a copy of that as well.

Having them tell you they cannot find your file is NOT a good sign - they've been getting rid of FOSS and moving everything into GCMS. You really want to make sure they haven't lost your file - especially after three years.

Are you asking for information about yourself? If so, it's a privacy act request and there's no charge.

If you are asking for information about someone ELSE (e.g., your spouse) then it is an ATIP request and there is a $5 charge.

Hello everyone, this is the message i got from my visa office after send them email to enquiry about my file:

Dear Sir/Madam,
