Have they come back to ask about the medical for the child / further info? It's not going to progress much until you get it settled with IRCC that the mother refuses, and your spouse demonstrates (somehow) that he recognizes this means no sponsoring the child, ever. IRCC will usually not handle these files quikcly - it's rather a big deal.

They did mention in a letter about the child won't be sponsored again. We sent an email from the mother stating that he's trying to take the child away and moved to canada and she understands the consequences and OK with it and his reply email begging her to cooperate as it will be a problem for the child later on. Ircc didn't ask for anything further and said they have received the email and anything else needed will let us know but still nothing

I'm the sponsor and I created the tracker profile. I am able to login and view details but when I gave the login details to my spouse the PA, she isn't able to login.
Does the PA have to create her own tracker profile?
Also, I've heard people talk about linking their GCkey to view update. Please how do we do that?

First question: Yes, you and your spouse should have separate UCIs. Your spouse needs to register as a PA on the tracker to view the application there. They should be able to see more details than you can as the sponsor.

Second: Regarding GCKey, try this link:
.

*Number of applicants: Make sure to include the sponsor in the count. For example, if there is one PA, enter "2" instead of "1."

You need to wait. Very likely, you will get new eCOPR as married (and your spouse will get that too).
They may be trying to update your file and the eCOPR was sent out without the updated info.
It may take a bit of time to finish background check of your spouse. Hopefully not too long.

I have a few questions about applying for a Dual Intent Temporary Resident Visa (TRV):

  1. When is the best time or application stage to apply for a Dual Intent TRV?
  2. Is it advisable to apply for a TRV for the spouse?
  3. Could applying for a TRV create any problems with the current Spousal Permanent Residency (PR) application?
  4. What is the success rate for this type of TRV application?
Thanks !

1) Once you have recieved AOR for the spousal sponsorship application.
2) It is your choice.
3) Only if there is some kind of material misrepresentation in the TRV application.
4) Success rates aren't posted by IRCC.

I personally won't recomend TRV cause ki when its time to leave the country and come back as a pr , they won't be sure ki aap step out karoge. in some cases they allow. and in some cases they reject trv, you got to talk to more people . check youtube . canada spusal sponsorship . It wont affect your timeline or delay. I cant say concreetely about success rate

I’m spouse, and I got email asking for explanation regarding marital status, which I gave them, my sponsors eligibility is completed, after sending info, I haven’t heard back anything from them, but got email saying that your file will be transferred to NEW DELHI (VO), does that mean they are satisfied with explanation, if they were not, an agent should have taken action accordingly right ? What should I take from this ?

Hello Folks, hoping to maybe get some insight on my situation.

(outland) Spousal Sponsorship PR Application - I am a Canadian (sponsor)

Submitted: September 26th 2024
October 23rd : AOR1 - all documents completed
November 8th : Biometrics request
December 3rd : Biometrics approved, requested Medical examination
December 9th : AOR2
December 19th : Medical examination completed and cleared on the tracker
December 20th : Background Verification - In progress

We have been waiting, going on 13 weeks for an update regarding the background verification completed.

Should I continue to wait? Or should I submit a webform asking what the delay is, maybe it is a normal amount of time?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I was also reading the thread and saw something about Portal 1 and Portal 2 emails, is this only for inland applications? Will we be exempt from this because its an outland application?

Once again, any information on this would be appreciated.

Cheers
