Can anybody please help me
I got my ITA on april 2023 and submitted my application on May 2023
I got approved for the copr on August 2023
In the mean time after getting the P1 mail, I went back to my native and got married
Also on the p1 mail response, I gave the info stating my travel plan
Once reached canada, I sent out an email again for the same p1 email response as I got married
They told me to submit my wife documents,
My copr got revoked on the same day
Her AOR is oct 2023 and we both got approved again on feb 2024
I got my ecopr on feb 14 and waiting for her ppr request
When can I expect the PPR request for her?
Not family sponsorship so unlikely those in this part of the forum would know - try posting in the forum relevant to your app.

My wife's spousal PR application is in process, meanwhile we applied for her TRV and gave biometrics for TRV. Now have recieved biometrics letter for PR as well. Do we need to give biometrics again ? or IRCC will use the ones given for TRV ?
Please if anyone could advise

Yes, you need to give again. This was suspended for a while during covid but back to normal now.

Hey folks, I got a PPR last Feb 5th 2024 and submitted my passport Feb 13th 2024
Should I contact IRCC that I have submitted my passport? It's almost 30 days (since the given time is to submit within 30 days) and I haven't heard from them back.
The last update was 'under process' since Feb 14th 2024 and nothing anymore in my accounts and vfs tracker.

I would wait a couple more weeks. If you submitted your PP on Feb 13th, that's just shy of 3 weeks ago. 2-4 weeks processing is not unusual.

Thanks for this, I just didn't know if I should be informing IRCC that I have my passport submitted already

Good to know. I have received two passport requests in a space of two weeks. Submitted my package to a VFS in another country (there's non here), then I had to chase the VFS to pickup my package it's not been delivered door to door even though it was supposed to. And now I'm waiting. Meanwhile I received a tracking number from VFS that doesn't return an information whje I use it various VFS trackers online. So there's nothing left but wait.

Unfortunately, VFS customer service is terrible and every call with them ends with them requesting a customer to send a VFS webform.

My patience is running low these days haha.

Thanks for reading.

Hello guys need your suggestions here,
I am currently a PR and living in Canada. I am planning to get married in few months and wanted to know more about Outland sponsorship.
1) can I apply for sponsorship for my wife from inside India.
2)Also I am thinking to stay there for more than 3-4 months after my marriage and work from there, as I can work remotely to my Canadian company.
3) does it affect my sponsorship application.
I have applied for her TRV and got multiple refusals, so I don’t have any other option and I want to spend some time after marriage.

You must live in Canada during the whole time the application is being processed. Living more than 3-4 months outside of Canada will result in refusal.

You will have to apply once you are back in Canada, you can't do the application while you live outside of Canada. It would be possible only if you were a Canadian citizen.

How about can I go abroad get married for a week and come back and apply.
As I am currently leading a project where my presence is mandatory and leaves won’t be available.
Yes. That's no problem. If, after applying, you go for a trip, IRCC says "short trips abroad are ok." They don't define short trips. Less than a month recommended.

Also note: you should keep in mind the need to show the marriage is genuine, in which time together is a significant factor. If you've already spent a lot of time together, fine. If it's an online rleationship or arranged marriage, it may not be very convincing to have only spent a week together.

Hi ,

I have submitted my spouse PR application Outland stream. But while I was submitting the application. It was exactly 6 months( Pcc received - AUG 18th 2023 and Application submitted - Jan 18th 2025). After the submission my application was sent back that one of the documents is missing signatures . I have added signatures and resubmitted (Feb 18 2024) Now have received Aor on Mar 3rd 2024 . Now I’m worried because during the application resubmission the PCC has crossed 6 months . I’m scared now that they would consider PCC as invalid. Any info if there will be any issue or my spousal application will be rejected ? I’m worried now
