Just a quick question. The passport has been dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre from IRCC. Can anyone let me know why it was sent there? I thought it’s going to send straight to the home address from IRCC office.

When they return your passport from IRCC, they send it through VFS email.

Thanks, counterfoil was updated when the application was approved. They gave it until the expiry date of the passport. And the dispatch time was 9:15 am

Hi, my mom’s passport has been dispatched just now. IRCC received the application on January 31st. One way courier.

Got the ‘application status changed’ update today. IRCC received the application on January 31st. Maybe a few more days to get the passport back.

Most probably you won’t be able to receive it by then, but there might a chance if there are not too many applications piled up.

21 working days. They may take longer based on applications received.

I don’t think you’ll receive your passport by then as per current processing times. You may have to cancel your flight.

Not there yet. They are still working on applications received in last week of January, between 27th and 30th. My mother’s passport was received by IRCC on 31st of January. I may hear back sometime next week. You’re still two weeks away from now to receive a dispatch email.

I think it changes to closed once the visa is stamped.
