Yes, its a scam. Can anybody let me know , I applied PR for my spouse she is in India. DO VFS charge for biometric because we already paide $85 to ircc when we applied. VFS jalandhar asked RS. 2000 for normal and Rs. 3500 for premium so they upload the biometric within a week. In my opinion its a scam thing. My wife paid at the spot but I just want to confirm whether they ask for it in vfs offices in India, if anyone has an idea please share. Thank you
We submitted ours converted it in the notepad and translated ourself then converted to pdf and submitted.@armoured @scylla I will be submitting spousal sponsorship application soon. For proof of contact, can we submit our chats as is without any translation as there is some private stuff in the chats which we don't want to get officially translated? Most of the conversation is not in English but all of the words are written with English letters but the visa officer will not understand them. What other proofs can we submit?
It's a scam there is no such thing.Yes, its a scam.

Hello! It means they are still to work on your background check. Only info sharing is in progress because they share database with other countries (biometrics). Background check normally is the one that take the longest from all.Hi there,
