Yes. I just tried to log in and it didn't work. After logging in it sends me back to the home page. I wasn't sure if the problem was just here, but it sounds like I'm not the only one getting this issue.

    Spousal sponsorship

There is only one application and the principal applicant (PA) will submit everything. Even though it sounds like there are two applications, in reality, it is only one. There are some documents that the sponsor will have to fill, sign, and provide to the PA, but the PA will upload and submit...

The UCI in the AOR is my UCI (the sponsor) instead of my wife's UCI (the Principal Applicant). Is that normal? Also, it's not a letter per se, only an email. I suppose it counts as a "letter". The email looks like below. UCI: 99999999 (sponsor's UCI) Application No.: F99999999 Quote these...

I agree. It is super confusing having to create multiple accounts on different websites. I got the AOR today and managed to link the UCI to the GCKey account. However, I had to use my wife's UCI (the principal applicant). I don't think there is an issue with that (I'm also her representative)...

I applied on Feb 4th, 2024, and haven't received anything yet. Based on the PR tracker, only one February applicant has received it so far. I hope we all get it soon! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/192sbvjd4vJsEWY_B7w5DgFKBmIPNYo6TjlVWAk-xxxA

Once you figure this out, I'm curious to know how you dealt with this, in case I face this issue in the future.

Take a look at the PR Tracker and see if you can find any pattern. The link is below. Based on the few examples I've seen, I don't think it changes anything if the spouse is a US citizen, but that's just my guess. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/192sbvjd4vJsEWY_B7w5DgFKBmIPNYo6TjlVWAk-xxxA

Even though the instructions say that you need to be approved as a sponsor, it is only one application. I believe that one of the first steps they will do is to assess if you are eligible to be a sponsor. You need to create an account on the Permanent Resident Portal...

You said you had your place, does it mean you owned a property or you rented it? If you owned it, you should have documents to prove it. If you rented it, didn't you have a lease contract? If not, maybe you can speak with the owner and try to get a letter stating you and your spouse rented the...

Hi people, I have a question about signing the forms for those who have already applied. Below is what the guidelines say about the signatures. As we can see, all of them can be digitally signed. What's your experience with that? Have you digitally signed everything? I've seen posts before...

The average time to receive an AOR seems to be 1-2 months. There's a tracker where people share their timelines: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/192sbvjd4vJsEWY_B7w5DgFKBmIPNYo6TjlVWAk-xxxA/edit#gid=1555272726

It depends on who is handling the application. If you are the sponsor and you are the one handling the application, I believe this form is mandatory because the application needs to be filed by the principal applicant (even though they can't validate who that email belongs to, it should belong...

I don't think all the forms have to have the same date (at least, I haven't seen anywhere in the guidelines asking for this). I guess that it doesn't matter. In my case, I'm filling the forms all out and will sign them on the same day once everything is done. As for the letters and other...

Yes. I've also seen people saying that they electronically signed the IMM5476 form and had issues. I'll print it, sign it by hand, and scan it again just in case. I'm not sure why the person above got it returned (it sounds like they didn't fill it out correctly).
