I am putting the inland application for the spouse. Please advice me about the supporting documents i need for application.
Please enlist the supporting documents i need for spouse.
Currently i have joint bank account, lease agreement, letter from doctor for pregnancy, how much financial bank statement i
required, as i am currently student.I have snaps for weeding and some trip after marriage to Toronto, Please let me know any thing that support my application to show its genuineness.

My husband and I are planning on applying for inland sponsorship. However, I, myself as the applicant can also apply under CEC. Based on the current processing time it is 13 for CEC and 10 for sponsorship (first assessment). I have tried applying for CEC once and was rejected. This is because the job description from my employer's letter did not match that of the NOC.

What should I do? Which would be the easier and faster way?

Hi All,
Parents of principal applicant not able to attend the wedding taking place in Canada, due to financial constraint, can that pose any red flag on inland application?
Thanks All
Small flag, just explain why parents were unable to attend wedding on application.Cost, previous commitments.
My parents were unable to attend my wedding due to great distance to travel, cost and work. I had no problems.

I am planning to ask my MP to inquire about my parents immigration status, I am wondering if any body did it before and how was the visa office reaction, did the inquiry make them upset? or it did help to facilitate the process?

I don't know your specific situation but usually you would only use your MP in a last resort situation. Example would be if you have been waiting a few months beyond the processing time for whichever stage you are inquiring about and you have attempted to call, or e-mail many times to find information on your own and you have been unsuccessful. In that situation you might ask your MP to inquire into your case to find out why you have been waiting so long. I believe the consensus is that generally, if you are in a last resort situation your MPs office can only speed things up for you, I don't think it would have a negative effect, but I have heard that people get information and see progress after using their MP when nothing else was working.

My partner and I currently live in Australia and have a 17 month old son together. I am Australian and my partner is a Canadian Citizen by birth; our son is a dual citizen.

We are applying for the Spousal Sponsorship Family Class Visa and have plans to move to Canada in November (5 months away) but are unsure what will happen with the application once we move. Will I need to apply for another visa to get entry and not be refused at the gate without full approval and can I work once I arrive but before the 2nd part of the visa is approved?

I should also note that we have been together for nearly 3 years and lived in Canada together for the first 10 months of our relationship before moving to Australia.

May seem like a dumb question, but.... when you generate the barcodes when you 'verify' your documents what do you do with those barcodes? Are they supposed to be sent as a bar code on the actual package you send in (so they can scan them?) or just sent in with all the other papers inside the package?
Thanks guys.

With the right tool, or Android app, you can read them. (PDF 417) The CIC office that receives your package uses the barcodes to input your initial application data. So, yes, you include them. This is why it's a very bad idea to hand edit the printed forms, as the barcodes will not include the changed information.

when did/do you plan to apply? syndey is super quick, and currently processes applications in 3-4 months, so it may be a non issue. you will not be able to work legally in canada or "move" there until you receive your pr status. if you enter as a visitor before your application is finished, then you must be able to show ties back to australia.

i didn't think australian travelers needed a visa to enter canada?

We plan on applying within the next few weeks actually. No I wouldn't need a visa to enter Canada as a tourist but as my partner and son are citizens they may look at it as a risk of me staying there illegally. Have you recently sent an application in through Sydney? This would be my visa office once the first step is completed but online it says currently 55 days for step 1 and 11 months for step 2 in Sydney.

We are starting to think I should maybe apply for a Working Holiday Visa and enter the country that way as I have a job I can start in November when we plan to arrive and then apply for residence once we are there. Just not sure if it's worth risking or not.
