ur rite its all coz of strike but its they r taking too much some of the ppl who applied after me got their PPr already ..i dnt knw in wat sequence dese guys r wrking...

thanks for replying but when we track our application it just shows in progress..how come we can check that these applications were in que behing ours and they have been processed...just being Inquisitive.

I've known my husband for like a year now and in that one year i went to visit him like 4 times, i have the plane tickets, we also stayed at hotels few times i have recipts and we have lots of pictures together and have phone bills we use to talk like 3-4 hours a day + on skype... will these things be enough for proofs?

I also have similar case but my parent was there in my legal marraige but no religious ceremony we have and they are asking for wedding pic what should i do please expert help

Each person's GCMS notes can be different (sponsor and applicant) and generally it is best for you to both sign a release of information and send that along so you get information for both of you at the same time.

Any time someone's file is forwarded to a local office I recommend they send in an ATIP inquiry so they know why the application was forwarded to a local office. So you should definitely request this information. You only want the electronic case notes, you don't need the physical file.

If they say it is in queue it means it's still in the pile awaiting review.

Get your notes. You'll know within a month because you will either hear from the local office OR you will get your notes and learn from them why it was referred to a local office.

Different applications take differing periods of time depending on circumstances of applicants, Visa Office processing the application, etc.

country of nationality, what is the time period (if any) that has to be minimal for us to be in that country for which the specified visa office could be held responsible? In other words, how long do we have to be in a country before we could select its visa office? or is there such time limit?

I thought it was a year.. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp confirms that.

hi same here..
I filed my husband's PR in january and his file sent to delhi on 28th feb and after dat i didnt get any reply..
I dont knw wat dese guys are doing...ppl after us even got request about their pasports...
No Idea wats happening in embassy..

CAIPS results awaited and they are not responding to my lawyer.... We did MP inquiry twice but results were fruitless... nothing concrete.....

You don't ask him/her for a favour. You ask them about the status of your application. You tell them that waiting any longer then 6 months for a visa is ridiculous. You tell them that the job action is not your problem. That you elect officials to government to avert labour unrest not encourage it.

What exactly they can do other then status check if file and passport is with them without any results from past 13 months. I even dont know what problem do that have with my file... They have not asked for interview or supplementary documents. Yes they did ask for new medical pcc that was also four months back.....

No, you must have been there for at least one year. It says "have been" not "will be". I read that as historical not permissive.
