Your wife is not immigrating with you, so you would just need to update the additional family information form - you don't need to add her to your primary application (e.g., IMM 0008 doesn't change).razz said:1.Now to update my status to CIC what documents would i need.
No. You can have two applications in different categories in process at the same time.razz said:2.Will i have to with draw my old file to apply for spouse visa.I havent applied for family class spouse visa yet.
No. You won't pay a fee for her, nor will they require medicals (not for your skilled worker application).razz said:3. My wife is not going to accompany me to canada as she is already their, so will i have to pay application fee for her also when I will update my status with CIC.
If you do pursue spousal sponsorship, then you can ask to withdraw your current FSW application. If they have not started processing it, you can obtain a refund of the fees. If they have started processing it, then you cannot get a refund of the fees.
If they've already started processing your skilled worker application, you may wish to let that continue. In that way, you will receive an unconditional PR. The spousal PR you receive will be conditional and your wife must agree to provide support to you for a period of three years.
