Hello everyone.

I'm Canadian PR planning to sponsor my husband (to be). I want to ask you, since I'm a PR and not a citizen, can I marry my fiancée in our homeland or he should come to Canada?
As my understanding I should be in Canada in order to sponsor him and I'm a bit confused because he has no visa or any other ways to entry Canada in order to get married.

Thank you all.

You can marry anywhere in the world really, just must submit application while you are in Canada.

Yes, that’s correct. Just double check all your forms are the latest version and you are not missing any signatures and dates. Good Luck!
Thanks

I got married in New Delhi November 2018. We did a simple marriage and did not have time to go on honeymoon. I sponsored my wife in 2019. In February 2020, she had an interview and she was refused. I filed for appeal and had an ADR last week. The minister counsel did not consent it because she wants to hear my wife's testimony. I have received an date for full hearing. I want to know what are the chances of winning an appeal.

To answer the first part of your question that’s what I did. For example Jan 1 - 10 stayed at xxx not living together then after marriage Jan 11 - Jan 20 stayed at xxx and lived together.
That means you used two rows for the same trip? Are you sure that will not be considered as 2 different trips?
