my spouse has now 94% but we not receiving any update since January, thats why i am asking do someone have same situation as me , and what your situation?
I have seen this %age BAR thing in the past .. has not much value to be celebrated or to be assured that within a week or so she will get PPR. This may belong to BACKGROUND check mostly in my opinion. Also this BAR seems to moves exactly with that 1 YEAR time factor. Whole case may take much less or longer.

but its almost a year at 22 days
My process bar shows 100% since march 2019. This bar means nothing. And when they said 12 months, that means nothing for a bunch of us. 28 months that we are waiting for DM and I am not the only 2018 applicant here. But this waiting time is not usual.

U R applicant as a spouse? If yes then TRV will be bit difficult not impossible. Ppl are suggesting Minister to issue TRVs in such cases so that families join together.
As long as Bank act has your name, address should not matter much. In addition you can attach a small letter. May like to show other assets or ties back home.

Hi,

Sequence of action:

1. Traditional marriage ceremony in 2015 but did not register the marriage legally.
2. Visitor visa applied in 2016 through an immigration consultant, not sure if he put Single or Married in it but consider Single because the marriage was not legally registered.
3. Applied for Outland Spousal application in 2019.

Question: Any chance declaring single in the visitor visa in such scenario would impact in the spousal application?

Regards
So you declared yourself SINGLE while going to Canada as a Visitor.. It can be a problem. Try to get the marriage cert now ONLY then sponsor her. OR talk to a consultant. You wrote: APPLIED in 2019 your marital status on that application sounds like married, now if they pick up this thing you can explain all in a letter that you did a mistake. Lets wait reply from other members.

we got our marriage registered legally.
That is V GOOD thing you did. Say they raise a Q (from GCMS notes they can always find anything past about an applicant) At that time I would explain the whole story how agent in India treated you and so on. NOT much of concern at the present time. Be happy as you Registered the marriage

I suggest they should REMOVE that eye-washing BAR

The visitor visa was rejected. I have never landed in Canada. Also, I am not sure what marital status the immigration consultant put in my visitor application because we had a verbal fight on his professionalism on which he never shared any details. I am just considering the case where ‘Single’ was declared. The marriage was not legally registered, so can you please help me understand how can it be an issue please because IRCC does not consider a ceremony as marriage?
Yes, in the spousal application I declared myself ‘married’ because at that time we got our marriage registered legally.
Regardless of what your consultant put on the forms, YOU are responsible for all the content on them. A person should review everything and question anything that doesn't look right before signing and submitting the app. Saying the consultant messed up is not an excuse in IRCC's eyes.

Yes, As far I know after March 18 no application is not processing in normal way due to COVID-19. They are processing before march 18 applications. So dont worry, they will start your processing soon in sha Allah. They are just waiting for the situation to settle down a bit probably. Because giving PR is meaningless until they allow people to enter other than just peoples time frame to enter canada will waste.
I am also waiting for my next step. Hoping for the best and good luck to you too
Thanks. Yeah hopefully they will start processing as many employees came back on 13th July and its great news. They started scanning paper applications as some people will work remotely. I hope you get ppr soon.

From cic website
In general, we heard that employees are
happy to be back in the office and are comfortable and confident with the new temporary signage and measures put in place in their worksites. The machine is getting back into motion and paper applications are successfully being scanned and entered into our system, allowing for more and more applications to be processed remotely every day.

Hey guys, if both the sponsor and the PA are moving to a new address, can the PA send the web form to report a change of address for both the PA and sponsor, or would the sponsor have to send a separate web form?

Hi

I had posted this query few days ago. I would appreciate if someone can guide me on this.

I am PR and done my soft landing last year. Presently I am in India and planning to move to Canada soon. I got married few months ago. My wife have TRV (Temporary Resident Visa). I am planning for inland spousal PR. Can she travel to Canada on her TRV and then I apply for spouse PR? In current covid situation, can she travel with me as immediate family member?

I would appreciate if anyone can reply on this.
Thank you.

In short, yes, but you will both need proper quarantine plans on arrival. The usual caveats apply that decision is up to CBSA at border to admit your spouse under TRV as she arrives with (somewhat evident) plan to remain. Also documentation that she is your immediate family member (i.e. marriage certificates etc).
