If you've gone through this many steps, you're past AOR and your package will not be returned as incomplete.
Thank you very much, I’ve gone under medical test and biometrics done last month so I shouldn’t be worry that they will return my application. My app for pr has been forwarded to visa office delhi on November 5. What is the next step?

How long is it taking to completely process the inland spousal sponsorship in today’s date?
Also, does the processing time starts after the aor or before the aor?

Hai
Greetings for the day

My friend is recently married person(from India), her husband is a PR holder in Canada. She already have Visitor visa for Canada. She wants to goto Canada first on visitor visa and wants to apply for Dependent PR from there(paper application). May I know is this right way? Or else she must be in India to apply the PR process until her application reaches to CIC.
Please suggest us with the right way

Thank you & Regards
Anusha

Hello,
I submitted my spousal pr application in july this year later I went under medical examination and biometrics both. My spouse received mail regarding she’s eligible to sponsor me. My pr application has been sent to my home country visa office but so far I don’t receive AOR so that I link my application to my online account. I’m wondering why I’ve not received my AOR. In addition I do have my UCI and application number too. Please suggest me guys so that I can see the status of my app.

HI everyone,

Thank you for this thread Leon.

I landed on November 6th,2019 and waiting for my PR card . My marriage is on DEC 28th ,2019 in my home country.

I have few questions regarding spousal sponsorship.

1. How soon can i sponsor my fiance after i come back to Canada i.e in February.
2. Do i need to have a job in Canada at the time of sponsorship or is it fine if i can show the funds in my bank account.
3. How much time does it take for Outland sponsorship now a days.

Thank you .

1. You can sponsor when you return. You must stay in Canada while the application is processed, though a short vacation of a week or two seems to be okay.

2. You are not required to have a job but you will need to show capacity to afford to sponsor your spouse, and cover their expenses.

3. Sponsorships take approximately a year.

Hi,

I have some queries regarding the spouse sponsorship.

1) In my Spouse's passport, the Last Name of her father is not mentioned, however, for her mother the Last Name is mentioned. What is the best way to tackle this situation?

2) My spouse does not have a job in India right now. Will this be a constraint for the Sponsorship application, even when I am declaring that i will be responsible for all her finances?

Thanks

1. No idea. Does she have a birth certificate that mentions the names?

2. No.
1. No idea. Does she have a birth certificate that mentions the names? (She does not have a birth certificate. When she was born, the rule for birth certificate was not so strong in our country. )

2. No. (Thanks for the confirmation)
