Sorry, but what about the IM5604? Her father doesn't need to sign?
I'm talking about immigrating as a family class(spouse) to a Canadian and immigrate with my daughter of my first marriage.
I was asking if he doesn't sign that, I should wait for if I can include that document later on the documents package. Sorry about my question incomplete. :)

So that would have been something to explain in your first post.

You need either full legal custody of your child or permission from the father. You can apply without it by including your child as non-accompanying. If you are not able to obtain the necessary permission before the app is completed, your child will not be granted PR.

To check the ecas (Status Check) you can you can use your UCI
TO link the application use Passport details or birth details of the applicant. usually you can link the application when you have the application no. because its activated when the file no. is issue(or yur AOR is on the way) also, you can try to link the application if you have Prospective application no.
Thanks Kaur!
Just a follow up question, for ecas (Status Check); if I use my UCI#, on the bottom part, will that be my personal details (surname, DOB, place of birth) or her details? Also, how will I get the application#? Will I receive an email from IRCC later on?
Appreciate for sharing your knowledge.

Hi there,

I have been cohabiting with my partner for already 10 months. We are planning to apply for the sponsorship this March. However, my family member passed away today, and this requires me to leave Canada. My current visa is good until March 18th.
My questions are:
1. How long can I stay separated from my partner for attending the funeral ?
2. How can I prove that I go back for it?
3. How can I come back to Canada after let’s say 2 weeks? (My visa expires on March 18th.)

Wouldn't she be asked and troubled at the immigration? Would this have any negative effect on my status? Lastly, will I be applying for her through inland or outland spousal sponsorship?
She can apply for the TRV but there's never a guarantee she will get one, based on her Canadian connection (you) . As for inland or outland, I'm not the best person to advise you on that. I'm not familiar with the pro s and cons. However i do know that if for whatever reason your application (inland) is refused, you can't appeal the decision. Whereas if you do an outland, you can But that's all I know

Hello everyone, I have one question.
My husband is planing to sponsor me with outland type of sponsorship but I plan to come to live with him in Canada and apply from there.
I have tourist visa but can someone tell me, when we apply does my visa get extended or do I have to leave the country after 6months?
Thanks :)

You can apply for an extension But keep in mind of you require an interview, it will be done in your country, not Canada
