There is no official income requirement, even if you had 10 children. But, you do have to prove you and your family can support yourselves without welfare.Daling said:how about if you sponsor spouse and my child? What is the annual income?

Just write it yourself.djsum said:I am a bit confused as to should I just send the photos as it is, write my wife's name and DOB myself (my handwriting might not match that of the photographer) or request my wife to send new set of photos with the right specification.

1. Just follow the checklists. They give you some ideas about what to include for proof.kau said:Hey!
I have some queries, Hope you can help me as you have already passed through the initial phase.
1. What other than CIC check-list you have included in your file? (i.e. Hotel bills, Shopping Bills etc.)
2. How much one should be earning in Canada to sponsor spouse?
3. Any minimum tax requirements?
4. I have been in Canada on FSW 2014 program and worked for 9 months, any concerns regarding 12 months Income proofs?
5. What we need to mention in the form IMM0008 (Program under which you are applying & category under which you are applying)
6. My Husband also applied for FSW 2014 but didnt get PER (Missed 67 Points) and has UCI no. anything we need to keep in mind?
7. What all original documents need to send along with the package?
Thanks Much!
Lots of people have civil weddings even with no family or friends there. We married in a coworkers house with total of eleven guests. No engagement party, no honeymoon, just glad to be married. Money gets used up on visits and immigration fees. Not a red flag at all.AladdinsGirl said:Hi, we are finally filling out the paperwork to try and get my husband into Canada (we are currently living in Egypt). Anyways, we didn't have a formal engagement (or an engagement party) nor did we have a formal wedding (we went to the ministry building, as do all foreigners here) and we didn't have a party as we had no money or time (my husband travels for work). Will it be a huge red flag?? We have been together since 2011 and have a 3.5 yr old daughter, and I have been living in Egypt since then. Thanks
P.S. I did try to look at other threads but there wasn't an direct answer, as I know every situation is different.
Well that depends really on your culture. Are either of you from a (especially) religious background that sees this type of thing as unusual? Are there any other red flags such as religious differences, age differences? Have you met each other's families? Any history of your spouse trying to get into Canada by other means? And so on.AladdinsGirl said:Hi, we are finally filling out the paperwork to try and get my husband into Canada (we are currently living in Egypt). I am not from a religious background, he is. It's a very common thing over here, when foreigners marry Egyptians here at the Ministry (I actually preferred this). Reg Flag-I am older than him by 12 years. He hasn't met my family in person because he will never be granted a vistors visa (as most Egyptians aren't). I see his family once a week We did try applying for a visitor visa twice and was declined twice (but that is normal).Aquakitty said:Well that depends really on your culture.
