Well i also enquired twice through webform and they replied the same every time that the background check is in process and we do not have any control on it.

I received pre arrival letter in February 2019. Since then, background check is going on and on and on...

Oh wow, over 12 months((( did they request you for new police clearance during this background check process?

Did you travel to more than one country? My husband(PA) has lived in Australia for about 4 years and Pakistan most of his life. Would this prolong background check, do you think?
