Why would you send your passport to Islamabad when they have asked you to send it to Abu Dhabi? Islamabad no longer stamps your passport, you have to send it to Abu Dhabi through VFS. If you are from Lahore, then the VFS is Gerry's near Ganga Ram Hospital.
Dear i m in khi and same as lahore here also vfs vendor is gerry's handling passport submissions and yesterday I confirmed from their representative at the time when i was submitting my passport representative said yes we will send your passport to abu dhabi but i just got an email from vfs where they stated that my passport is been to sent to Islamabad that i why i m confused what to do ?
Oh I see. Don't worry, Islamabad is just a transition location for internal processing. Your route will be Karachi > Canadian Embassy Islamabad > Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi (for stamp) and then same reverse path for return i.e. Abu Dhabi > Islamabad > Karachi.

sorry .. cudn't come here till today .. my hubby is loving it here .. its the start of his 2nd week .. hes going to Manitoba Start program to know everything he needs to know .. he applied for his medical card last week .. got his SIN here in Winnipeg .. i applied for few jobs for him .. he will settle down very well ..

make sure to also read the "country specific requirements" that is extremely important
Its referred as Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). It's usually requested when you are almost done i.e. just before issuing final Passport Request.
