I am not sure about original...My lawyer submitted copies of everything

There is no set timeline unfortunately, there are still applicants from July 2017 whose file is still in progress (stuck in background check). But you never know, for some applicants it only took 7-8 months for whole process to complete.

I don’t know why there taking longer with background checks now for more and more applicants for no particular reason . Maybe their really busy processing all those files .

Hi All

I have applied for outland sponsor application back on 3rd of OCT 2017. From UAE. my application processing has been started on 3rd of JAN 2018 at LVO.

Current Situation: Last week I resigned from my current work, as I will move back to my home country (Jordan). because I am residence in UAE will take my passport to cancel my VISA, after completing my notice period which will end by first of week of August.

Shall I update LVO on these changes those days? or before leaving UAE in a couple of days?

One more last thing my current workplace name has been changed shall I also update LVO?

These are the things newly married couples need to take care of:

1. Nikkah Namma and Marriage Registration
2. Receipts of wedding events, banquet hall, catering, bridal dress etc.
3. Travel itinerary of your spouse since your relationship (even before wedding)
4. Boarding passes/credit card bills (payment receipt for tickets)
5. Entry/Exit stamp on passport pages of your spouse
6. Hotel reservations/ receipts of your stay together
7. Photos and description of all events (soft copies are fine)
8. Express entry profile details (any correspondence received by IRCC in this regard)

2. Photos and description of all events (soft copies are fine) (label each photo and explain each photo what event it is. put the names and relation of each person also. MOST important is to take rukhsati photos of you guys leaving the hall together, sitting in the car together etc,

they dont need original, copy is fine. if nikkahnama is in Urdu, make sure to get a certified and notarized copy and get a translation and send that.

copies only need to be certified if they are not in English or French.

correct, you will need to send all 3

Yes earlier they asked for Proof of SPonsor residence in Canada. they wanted to confirm if sponsor is inside canada or not.
But in PFL , they raise concerned that in walima the people look little in number than what i mentioned in application form (250 people), same were in Nikah, they were asking why only family people are in Nikah ceremony.
Also they were asking for communication proof to know if our relationship is still going .
For all these i provided new pictures and communication proof to show them that there were much people in walima and Nikah and communication is on going.

They received my PFL response and amazingly in one day they sent me Email that my Eligibility is been cleared by Immigration Officer and BGC is in process now.
I didnt even receive Pre Arrival letter . Only through email they told me
