Hey guys,

I'm back from my Umrah trip. Alhamdullilah, it was such a great experience. Got to pray in Hateem twice and touched Kaba door along with Kiswa. May Allah accept our prayers and duas and make this journey easy for all of of us!

What's the scoop? I still am waiting to the interview date. Nothing has been sent so far. Anyone heard for their interviews?

in the form IMM 5532


1. Before this relationship, was your sponsor related to you in any way? e.g.
• Your sponsor was related to a member of your family.
• Your sponsor's family member was related to you or a member of your family.

I got married to my 1st cousin my mamu's daughter. so is the ans. to this question 'yes' or 'no' ?

On the facebook group a Dec 2015 applicant got interview call for next month.

Do you know who that member is? And when they had applied for their application? Since I'm a December 2015 application too

just got email reply back from LVO regarding status update email in sent them on 02/02/2017. any suggestion how long will it take for security /criminality review?

Answer is Yes. Your spouse is related to your mother ( She is your Mother's niece)

Hi,
I am an august 2 applicant, send a status query couple of weeks back. I have received the reply stating that my application is currently in queue to be reviewed by an officer and if additional information is required in next stages of processing, I will be contacted.
This shows that they havent assessed the application even once. I am expecting that they have started following 1 year mark for remainder of applicants.

I think a forum member (Sept 2016) applicant has ordered notes. If his notes reveal movement then that means u have gotten a generic reply to ur query. Let us pray and hope for the best.

I highly doubt they would reveal the exact status of any application. Best wud be to order notes and see where your file is

I dont know if he is on this forum or not.. cause he is on facebook page... he says he is a Dec 2015 applicant.
I know u r also a dec 2015 applicant hence i shared the news with u.

CIC changed the rules in Dec 2016. So you have to keep that in mind and don't be sad Inshallah you will get it.

I haven't seen in this thread since I came, but if you go over to the interview and appeals thread there have seen some. You can also type in the top search to see if you find anything. :

I have also applied for my second notes couple of weeks a go. Once will receive my notes will inform all of you. I dont think am receiving general replies though, last time I received a reply in end November that my application is awaiting an initial review, my notes provided the same information at around the same date. Now I have applied notes two weeks back so its similar timelines.
Hope they have atleast reviewed file once.

Hello Forum members !!! Its been a long time I have checked the forum. I have heard that family sponsorship has been changed. Can someone tell me few questions for a brand new INLAND application:

1- Do or Can we still submit medical in advance along with the application?
2- Where is the application processed (Still in London)? How long is the approximate time?
3- MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: My family member tried to get their marriage certificate from local municipal office (Like I did in the good old days). But now they are saying that they do not issue marriage cert. anymore. I am confused and lost???? where to get one now?
