Hi,

I have received the same mail as well. But my other friend didn't receive anything like that. So it seems they sent it to only those people who has applied for family sponsorship. Lets see if any one else will come up with the same mail.

Thanks,

salam to all.
i received the same email regarding keeping PR Card while travelling and keep it up to date few days ago.

Hi Guys. In Ecas my "sponsorship application status" lines have reduced. It went from:

Sponsorship Application Status "In Process":
We received your application to sponsor "Wife name" on November 1, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 3, 2016.
We started processing your application on November 2, 2016.
We sent you correspondence on November 9, 2016 about the decision on your application. (This correspondence stated that "you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" and "application for permanent residence has been forwarded to visa office in London".

to just

Sponsorship Application Status "In Process":
We received your application to sponsor "Wife name" on November 1, 2016.

Has this happened to anyone? Any idea why?

Same happened with one of my friends. I guess they will update with more information on Monday. Don't worry.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

The question on the supplementary form about military service, it says have you ever served in any militia, if no Please explain. What am I supposed to explain? Why didnt my wife join the army or should I write not applicable?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Is there any difference between security background checks or mandatory background checks?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I personally wrote that it is our choice to join the army or not. It's not an obligation in Pakistan.

Some countries have a mandatory military service. That question applies to them basically. You could say N/A and say it's not mandatory in our country.

guys my wife had a mayon a week before the wedding. this event was not attended by anyone from our family and neither did we have any mehndi from our side since we were short on time and had to do a lot of preps since all of my family lives in canada. my wife signed the nikkah during her mayon while I signed it 4 days later in a masjid. When mentioning this do I write all about this or should I write something that she signed the nikkah papers the same day as i did? Does signing the papers days before the groom raise any red flags?

Hi my friend I want to give you very simple answer for your issue.

It doesn't matter your wife signed one day you signed after even 10 days
CIC only concern about the marriage date on the nikah nama.
Registrar the person usually do nikah they have to register this marriage on
the date you want to register.

Just consider about the marriage date only.
Mayon and mehdi cic do not care about , Only cic concern about Nikah rukhsati
and valima reception.

Your wife signed one day and you signed after 10 day or vice versa
This is not concern to the visa application it is better not to mention at
all if you do mention unnecessary information in the visa applicaton
You can be in trouble.
