I have not received any letter after sponsor approval regarding transfer of file.

Sure I would love to enlighten you It is the same letter. I didn't mean two letters. It's one and the same.

It reads as following:

Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted on behalf of
___NAME___ and family (if applicable).
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in London for further processing.
This visa office was selected based on your relative’s country of nationality and the requirements of the
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Err certified copies of my wife's passport ...
Maybe I can contact them through the web form and request them to forward it to LVO?

What's the Email/Address for LVO?

The email address is ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca
I am not sure if they will send the documents but you can definitely try calling them and request it.

Hi,

Cant say for sure as there are hundreds of applications from pakistan which are not on the spreadsheet.
its a mix these days, the most recent was 20th june applicant getting additional doc request. you can check thr spreadsheet as well.

In the holiday season i am not expecting new files to be opened.

You are almost done I believe. My case was taking longer than average and involving MP helped me. After my MP's enquiry, I got my DM after weeks. I am not sure if it is a coincidence, but you should definitely try involving MP.

I spoke with IRCC today who noted that although the normal processing time for this type of application from this region is 23 months, we are proceeding relatively quickly - in fact, there is only one step remaining before a decision is made. They cannot predict when it will finish, though. Feel free to check back in the future and I can ask them again, though you will hear from them when they finish their assessment. I hope this information is helpful to you"

What exactly they do in LVO when they say "We started processing your application on this date"? Do they start security and back ground checks? Or the applicants eligibility review? I don't think Eligibility review would have been taking long? More over I noticed one thing that in sponsor approval letter they said the next communication will be with LVO but after 3 days they asked me to re-submit supplementary information to Mississauga.. :-[

Asalam Alikum all,

My name is Tamim Anwar and I am Sponsoring my wife Kanza, we applied on June 9, 2016 and Sponsor Approval on August 3, 2016. I followed up with local MP and CIC is now about to start Eligibility and Background Checks, I then called Immigration lawyer who is former employee of CIC, she told me if the interview gets waived then checks will be completed within less than 2 months.

This is the latest update I got.

Good to see LVO is moving. I have same timeline except that my in process is August 10. It still shows not started for background check for me.

Just received the sponsor approval and transfer of file letter today, Dec 6th 2016, Alhumdulilah. Can the admin please update the spread sheet.

Also, if I need to send in documents voluntarily do I send it to processing centre in Mississauga or LVO? directly? Any ideas?

That was little weird.

You can see the trend, it takes more than 5 months on average from file transfer to LVO to receive correspondence from LVO (direct PPR or add doc request or re-med).
So now the waiting period starts.
