Just received email from IRCC about PR card requurement to board or travel to Canada that you must have valid PR CARD to travel.

Look like something is happened in previous days.
Thats why they are sending this email.

I think this email is only sending to PR card holders not citizens.

Expired or invalid travel documents presented by travellers entering Canada.

Just a thought, otherwise y they are sending this email to show Valid PR card

This question is directed to the Admin, I think people are confusing "Sponsor Approval" with "Acknowledgement of receipt", because I see people in the sheet where they're written they were approved in 7 days.. Which I think is quite impossible. UNLESS "AOR" is Sponsor approval, which I don't think it is

E.g. user "Ztauhidi" has posted that he received his approval in 7 days.

If we have bad data then that messes with the overall numbers . Just thought I'd mention this as I received the AOR today but not the spousal approval.

I also got this email. I think its just a reminder email to all Permanent resident card holders to have their card while coming back to Canada using commercial means.

Hi ! It is uncommon but it does happen. I also got my Sponsorship approval in 7 days after AOR. May be its case by case basis. Don't have enough examples to observe a pattern.

Fair enough. But I never said 7 days after AOR, I said 7 days after the application is received in the office. "Ztauhidi" has that.. You have 16 days from the time of submission.

in this case its seven days since date of app received in Cpc- m. you can have a look at the spreadsheet to see the trend.

Hi,
I am new to this forum, so would like some update on the spousal sponsorship processing times. I recently got mareied in August, 2016 and applying for my wife's sponsorship next week. On the CIC website, it says 24 months to process via London Visa Office? But I have heard it takes less time in actual these days. Is that true or does it still take 24 mo ths on average?

Could someone please shed light on the processing times? I would really appreciate it. Thank you all.
