I Recieved my notes today .Which states on the very first page Group Name : Interview Islamabad Paper
its kinna awkward as uptil now i have not have any communication from LVO.
On Page 6 under Eligibility Assesment Status : Recommend Interview
Status Updated : 2016/10/14

on the last page its says Recommend Interview to address BF concerns as indicated in notes below. Nikah and Divorce certificate for PA . Pakistani pc(nrt) on file. Photos from wedding and outing provided, proof of correspondence as well

Sorry to burst your bubble, but trying to talk to McCallum at a fundraiser will be of no use. I know because I was at the Liberals fundraiser in Milton a couple of weeks ago when McCallum came by. Some guy tried to talk to him regarding his case (stuck for 2 years or so) during the Q&A session, and they were having none of it. He basically said he can't discuss personal applications here. They were just taking general immigration questions, nothing really useful to us. Although he did say that in the next couple of weeks, they would be "introducing a new system" for family/spousal cases. No idea when and if that has come into effect. He also didn't comment on if that "new system" will be applied to applications already in-process.

So, honestly, I suggest just staying home instead of wasting your time there. You can go and try but I think you'll get the same answer. I can't imagine how frustrated you are, ever since I joined the forum 5 months ago, when I submitted my app, I've been following a lot of cases and for the life of me, can't understand why some cases get stuck.

God help us all. This is such a frustrating phase ???

Was Holland there when you went? I plan to go regardless since I've made few 'friends' at the MP's office. Plus I have to go for work anyways.

Don't panic. Consult your MP. Send CSE and ask for the interview date.

Now, what's the reason for the interview? I don't see how a second marriage warrants an interview?

Hey Landing PR, I received the PFL as well asking my husband my proof of residency in Canada, which was given but now it has been over 60 days. I have just contacted my MP who is telling me that there is no indication of an interview and also everything in my case has been passed except for the eligibility which is really weird as eligibility is the first thing they check but in my case medicals and background checks have been cleared. I'm quite tensed as the MP told me that once CIC sends PFL or ask for additional docs the case becomes NON-ROUTINE. Do you have any suggestion..?? If so please anyone do guide me on...

Order your notes. It'll give you clarity. Also send a CSE and ask for the interview date. They will let you know if it's scheduled and for which date. It's not uncommon for them to take this long. can you send me the Email address for that CSE .

Plus there is a due date 2017/1/14 on there dont knw what that means

the only concern i have that it would delay my process to much .

My MP mentioned that there is no interview indication on my file- So I don't know..

I just recieved reply from lvo office about my progress that

"Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for your message. This application is currently undergoing mandatory background checks. We are currently unable to advise when these checks will be completed, however, please rest assured we will contact you as soon as the background checks have been completed.

We trust the above is of assistance.
