Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

attest it from notary public and make sure stamp signature and date sub kuch ho unka... nothing shud be missed..

I think if u r the principal applicant then u attache 3907 doc checklist and your sponsor will attach 5491.. so both the people attach their own checklists and arrange the files as per their checklist.

Members,

Please enlighten me regarding below:

"Provide certified copies of the photo and information page of your valid passport and of any old
expired passports for you and your family members",

Here certified means attested from scale 17 officer and above or notarized from notary public??

More over please let me know which document check list I should attach with the file:

IMM 5491 or 3907 (Country specific Documents check list) ??

Thanks Matheeno :)

No an expired passport does not effect the application process. If he is in Canada he can easily renew it. As an applicant, its best tht you keep your Pakistani passport up to date.

Thank you...
Do mean that we have to prepare two separate sets for all documents?? Like my PR card copies and birth certificates for both sets, Financial documents like, bank statements ETC for both sets as those questions are asked in both questionnaires...
Then the forms are also mentioned in both check lists. Do we need to send those as well in two sets (seems strange)..

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

In my opinion u arrange the documents as per the instructions.. for example my husband did his sponsor kay forms.. and i did the PA kay forms as given in 3907 and all.. there was no duplication in our documents as far as i remember.. my husband then arranged/stacked mine and his documents in the order as given in 5491 and he sent it to CPC saga

Okay..
Thank you..
It means only set of supporting documents will be enough..

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I was asking about below, If you see identity documents are mentioned in both check lists.

Extract from 3907:

Nationals of Pakistan:
• Birth certificates for yourself and your family members including your spouse or common-law
partner. A birth certificate is acceptable if the registration of the birth was made shortly after
the birth.
• Your national identity card (CNIC).
• Marriage certificate for you and your spouse (Nikkah Nama).
• Death certificate(s) if your sponsor's or your former spouse(s), common-law or conjugal
partner(s) is/are deceased.
• Divorce certificate for you or your spouse's previous marriages. If a divorce has been obtained in
Pakistan by a sponsor residing in Canada, you must submit evidence that either party of the
divorce resided in Pakistan for at least one year prior to the divorce. Alternatively, you may
submit evidence that either party to the divorce had a substantial connection to Pakistan such as
frequent visits, property ownership, and/or active businesses in Pakistan.
• Official documentation confirming your relationship to your sponsor and both of your relationships
to the other family members on your application. This may include family lists and
household registries.
• Educational documents for your family members such as transcripts indicating a list of courses
taken, scores achieved as well as certificates

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi there,
I have got a request to resend the pictures to them since they are not according to the specs where do I send them?
P.s. Stupid incompetent photographers in Pakistan don't know how to read

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

How many days does it take to get the passport after submission to islamabad office?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Oh ignore the repeatation in 5491.. add sponsor stuff to the file of the principal applicants and send it away.
5491 repeats content of 3907 simply cause it instructing u to arrange the forms in that order.. u dont have to redo supporting evidence and civil status docs... the PA will arrange them and sponsor will add it to his/her set of forms/stuff and arrange it according to to 5491 and send.. :)

well, you already know the reason.
Surely there would be some photos, any? Not even of the hall, venue?
Pretty much every marriage has photos, videos, movie. You say u have none?

Then explain that to them in the interview when they call. Or give them whatever they want.
You're a Canadian citizen, you KNOW already.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

No photography as i already mentioned i observe shariah pardah and a sincere follower of my religion in which photos are not encouraged. I have explained to them in very detail and give every possible aspect of it.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office
