Yeah that is the correct number, but they wont transfer the call to an agent right away so please keep calling them over and over until some representative talks to you. And do it early in the morning as it gets busier later in the day.

Its a tough call, but keep praying hard. If the medical is still valid for at least 12-13 days from the days of COPR, then they will extend the medical for another week and they give you a deadline to land within 20 days after issuance of COPR. when did you submit your passport? I really hope it will work out for you without further hassle.

Yeah, dispatched the passport today. I also emailed lvo to ask for expiry date let's see which one gets to me first.

Yeah, dispatched the passport today. I also emailed lvo to ask for expiry date let's see which one gets to me first.

I submitted passport on last Thursday which was 6 oct
Then my passport was dispatched from islambd on 11/10/2016
Bcz of ashura i received call next day to get it..

Do u have any idea or knowledge about any kind of checklist of documents we should be having at landing for visa officer to check??

This is a good read. To summarize, you will need:

A Canadian immigrant visa (if applicable) and Confirmation of Permanent Residence for each family member traveling with you
A valid passport or other travel document for each family member traveling with you
Two (2) copies of a detailed list of all the personal or household items you are bringing with you (for this, they will also give you a customer declaration card on the plane so you can choose to fill that out)
Two (2) copies of a list of items that are arriving later and their money value

It depends on your luck and how straight forward your case is. Try to provide everything you can to prove your relationship. Some applicants are asked for the same things supplied with initial application and some with updated stuff like proof of continuation of relationship.

Yes they use the word Rukhsati.. Even in guide 3907 they wrote it as Rukhsati.

I had a question - I'm trying to get my original docs back and I think you received yours at the beginning of the month. Can you tell me were they sent from CPC Mississauga or from LVO? Thank you

From LVO, it was sent by British mail, royal mail or something
