Just received an email from CIC Mississauga asking for the following documents:
1-birth certificate of my husband
2-Renewed passport as his is expiring Feb 2017

I m wondering why Lvo didn't send this email as its 4m Mississauga.
It means they are doing background check etc ;D letter has his UCI number

do it as soon as possible than they will forward your file to LVO they can send it back as well so do it as soon as possible.

Some members mentioned that their spouses got birth certificate made now. My husband's union council in Wah Cantt Pakistan has no record of his birth as it was not registered by his parents 30 years ago. We sent a Bay form-Form B translated and notarized but i guess it was not good enough for Cic.

How can he get this birth certificate now? Guys plz comment how can he apply and obtain one? He is in Dubai. I contacted Nadra and they said they don't deal with it :'(

One of my friend got his birth certificate made a few months ago I will ask him and will let you know tomorrow. What I know is he had to go to District Government hospital so that doctor can check him and verify his age.

Lol....i joke with him sometimes that his age is more than 30 years bcz half of his hair are white i guess getting checked by Doctor would bring the truth eventually

However what if he cannot visit Pak? Plz check with your friend, thank you

what is the mean of background check without any medical request or any additional documents request that is good thing or negative if they skip two steps they able to recall on both steps again or not............... it,s confusion for me by reading on my cic account
