Just received an email from CIC Mississauga asking for the following documents:
1-birth certificate of my husband
2-Renewed passport as his is expiring Feb 2017

I m wondering why Lvo didn't send this email as its 4m Mississauga.
It means they are doing background check etc ;D letter has his UCI number

The spousal sponsorship processing time from UK( LVO) has changed to 14 months. it was 15 months last month

I have a question from the seniors. When you get your PPR do you take an appointment from the vac or just drop in to give your passport?

I dont think there's any appointment required. they will let u in if u have ur passport n eveything with u. Saturdays are off, btw.

No appointments... Its a walk in service..
And the process is hassle free
Only the applicant is allowed to enter the vac premises , any other accompanying stays outside in waiting area..
Also take exact amount which is 1319/=

No cards accepted and they are usually out of change
So better to keep exact amount...
And time for visa stamping is 10-12 days



I was wondering how many days will be off in chc islamabad due to Muharram??

My wife applied for my application on 18 sep 16. we got AOR on 03oct 16. but we forgot to submit urdu nikkah nama with translate. We are waiting for SA. Is this possible to submit nikkah name to mississauga or waiting for their email? you got email after SA from mississauge.

Since my husbands' medical was going to expire on 6th OCT. MyCIC had "Review of medical results: Passed" and I checked it now, it's saying "Review of medical results: Not needed at this time."

Does this mean that they have decided not to request re-medical, wouldn't it have been easy to simply request it. They're just messing with me, eh.

Is this is a good thing, because wouldn't they have changed it from passed. Have it expired and then: request re-medical.

I am no expert here But I would suggest you send it through online webform right away. After you type in the message box, it will direct you to next page where you can upload documents probably in PDF format. The AOR would have the UCI and Application Number which is a mandatory requirement for submitting this webform. After a day or 2, you can call CIC and confirm that they hv received it. I got email after SA from Mississauga. here's the link:

I think you can submit yours in Karachi VAC, they will safely send it to their Islamabad VAC, what say guys?
You can always call their helpline number and make sure.
