We got our SA yesterday.. at the sams time i got an email from MyCIC regarding an update.. i went in to check it and the eligibility section had review in progress in it.. however when i signed into ECAS today there is just application recieved and meds passed. Thats it..
Will i have in progress in my ECAS too?? When shud i typically expect that considring that im talking about ECAS of the PA and not the sponsor..

One of my friend got PPR request today and he's a FEB 2016 applicant. Backgrounds check started today and received PPR on the same day.

Yes its Jan 2016 application and upfront medical was completed in october. I am so so so happpppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Thanks alot my LORD and my all dear brothers on forum for help and guidance
@Flx2015 normally they send the request for passport like this or they send an email and in background check it says in progress

january 2016. no doc request, so they extended his/her medical (completed october 2015) and issued a direct PPR. same as the december 2015 applicant who got ppr last week. seems that applicants without doc requests are getting through quicker, which makes sense i guess.

these last two weeks have been crazy. :-\

what about the bc turn not needed at this time to in progress
the eligibility Review in Progress too and other all the things are remain same......In GC
what we can expect by the present status

Welcome and no problem..
That's all normal and fine with ur application stats..
U'll get to know if something is requested in additional doc row
And background check if started thats the finalizing part of your application..
Currently applications taking 9-10 months to reach final stages..

Hi again, 9-10 months sounds like a blessing at this moment. Alhamdulillah.

Quick question, since it says that Passed in the Review of Medical Results. Does that mean that they won't ask for a re-medical since my husbands' medical will expire on Oct 6th? Or does this mean that it's officially passed.

Is it a possibility that they won't need additional documents or do they tend to ask as a trend?

I hope all of our positive duas spread to each other and we all ease at heart, InshaAllah. Ameen.

Need urgent feedback.

I'm March-2014 applicant (husband case) and my re-medical was done in May-2016. We had been told from Visa officer and MP office in June-2016 that our routine background check is doing and no other documents are required.

We did sent an inquiry to MP couple of days before and got following feedback which is really confusing for us as she advised "Since this is a non-routine case, the current processing time of 24 months will not be applicable."

"I did an inquiry for you with IRCC this morning and I was told that the visa officer worked on the file in September 2016 and security check and clearance is still under review. Since this is a non-routine case, the current processing time of 24 months will not be applicable.
No outstanding documents are expected from the applicant at this time."

Can any one has any idea about above statement got from MP office?

we are really frustrated now.

Did you apply for GCMS notes and if yes what it says?

Also ask your MP why is a not routine case?

As they mentioned that this is a non routine case. Maybe your husband has some security issues.

Guys, I have an issue. I need someone's email address, so I can send the screen shot of the gcms notes. It says missing photos in VO notes. Then under '' outgoing requested '' it says passport photos. Which photos are actually missing? Someone with the appropriate info, can I please get an email or what's app pleeeeeeeej. I'm in pakiland with hubby, so freaking out on what stuff I need.

In the next couple of weeks or less, you should see a third line added on ECAS (under PA) saying "We started processing your application on October ##, 2016". Means LVO got it. And the status of PA will change to "In Process"

Can you pls explain what can be those security issues?? Previously I ordered notes and my Criminality was passed, Medical was passed, Eligibility was passed and visa officer was fully satisfied with our relation.
