I haven't send my original police certificate to husband and all the documents are photocopied. Do I need to send the originals also? Guide me if any.

Have u already applied?

The recent requirements are that only police certificate has to be original, rest all docs can be photocopies as far as i remember.

You need to send them "Original" police certificate as per my lawyer. Everything else can be photocopy. This is confirmed by my lawyer and everyone else here.

If you're sending with your package then send original. If they request you for police certificates then follow the instructions. In my case they asked for photo copies so I sent them photocopies and kept the original.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Since now only photocopies are required (except certified copies of passports) as per the updated requirements, is it still recommended to submit any originals like NN, Nadra marriage certificate and/or birth certificate?

Can one easily get multiple originals of Nadra marriage certificate from union council or Nadra?

Can someone please advise on how to answer the question "What preparation have you and your sponsor made for your move to Canada?"

Thanks in advance!

I have not sent anything original apart from police certificate..
I doubt the originals will be returned to u now that they have stated that they donot need them..

im not very sure whether u can get multiple copies of marriage certificate from nadra.. my advise wud be if u have one original donot risk sending it over unless asked to do so..

Decision made on your side means that you have gotten the sponsor approval and in process on your husband's side means that his file is in queue to be processed.
Hope this helps!

Simple - the officer wants to know how will you support yourself and your spouse when you arrive back in Canada.

Say that as soon as you arrive in Canada (both sponsor and applicant) where will you live? Do you have a home? If so provide house papers or mortgage papers. Will you rent? Provide a lease. Will you live with relatives? Make them write typed letters saying you will reside with them from so to so date.

Secondly, how will you provide for yourselves financially? Will you work? Do you already have a job? Provide a letter from your employer. Or do you have job offers? Will you job search as soon as you arrive, etc etc. Provide any proofs that will support your claims. Will the applicant work once in Canada? Provide sufficient proofs such as their educational background or a letter stating that they plan on going to school to further polish their skills for the Canadian job market. I mean just about anyyything.

If you have savings, then provide bank statements. If someone else will contribute in any way, then provide a letter from them.

Hope this helps :-)!
