Why would they? Another Oct applicant got an extensive document request yesterday.

So what I can gather from the spreadsheet is that once your remedical is done, you get DM within a month or a few days over a month. How exciting!

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Salam everyone! I got married in pakistan at the end of july alhumdulillah. The nikkah was done in July and we will be doing the wedding ceremony and valima at the end of september insha'Allah.

I was looking through the immigration documents and there is a question about the date on which I became a citizen. I looked at my citizenship card and it only lists the month and year. Do you know what I need to put for the day?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Dear sir, if you are not a born Canadian citizen then you may think of the date when you became citizen.
Although, if you go through all of your documents you may find the date. But if you don't, you may mention in the cover letter that you don't remember the date and you were able to find month and year only. Personally, I don't think it should change much. Other members having first hand experience can be in better position to comment.

Please have a look at https://sites.google.com/site/canpakvisa/ to prepare your application.
All the best

yeah, more or less. sometimes sooner, just depends on how quickly the applicant is able to complete the remed. glad to hear there's movement on your file.

who was the october applicant that got a doc request yesterday? which day of october did he/she apply and what were they asked for in the doc request?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I am so frustrated with this system..
I will just wait and see the next last week for any updates
Then if nothing happens,
I'll take a month or two break from this forum...
as this process is killing me inside.. :'(

I am sorry if i am being too negative but i think its better than by always expecting something good in the start of every week and getting dissapointed at the end of week. My calculations says that if in this week we dont hear anything then we dec applicants had to wait until end sept.

I know your intentions are good and I feel the same way...I rather be realistic then get excited about nothing (especially when it comes to CIC, it's always expect the unexpected).

Hope we hear something sooner than end of September though :'(
