What was the deadline, they gave you to submit the additional documents? isn't they suppose to look at the submitted documents by that deadline?

Nooo please it shouldn't be the case!

Can anyone remind me exactly how many months did oct batch took?
HRK 5 oct applicants are still waiting just 4 get their case finalized within 9 months .

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Are u telling me about the left over oct applicants if i am not mistaken?

Yea i know that but we were just talking about the majority who cleared it...

Who was the lucky one who got it in 7.6 months?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

yes HRK, the left over oct applicants are hitting 9-10 months.

i don't understand what's going on with the remaining october applicants. did they all require further review because the visa officers didn't think they were straightforward cases? who knows.

I cant understand why are they taking so much time now.. previously it was acceptable that they were busy doing refugee visa stuff.. but now what.!!

It's very sad to say but the ones who get left out of the majority have to suffer alot seeing others pass by..
May Allah bless them and they succeed ..

Always pray guys to pass in majority and not left by ..

because they fell behind by 2 months due to the refugee resettlement program, and they aren't going to make an effort to catch up on that lost time. if the average time to DM was previously 8 months, it'll now be 10 months (8 months + 2 months lost).

if you feel anger and frustration, hold on to that. once this is all over, remember it and never forget about how our government made false promises and how we had to wait this long while they processed visa exempt applicants within 3-4 months... applicants who were ALREADY in canada with their spouses... applicants who entered canada by lying to the CBSA and telling them they were only visiting temporarily.

Flx2015, is there any way to file a request or something so they can process applications faster, if all of us send them request at one page to make process faster or at least give visit visa to spouse, it will be great. B/C after this refugees thing, they have started processing it very slow. Why refugees are taking more priority than spouse visa ?

we can't really do anything. they're government and they can do as they please.

refugees took priority because bringing in 25,000 refugees means trudeau gets 25,000 votes for the 2019 election.

But oct apps didn't take 10 months...
So processing not 10 months naaw??

That's true but this is something unfair to all of us who are paying tax and who have properly filed our sponsor cases. At least media should raise this issue. They give at least visit visa to every spouse. Can they feel the pain how spouse can live a part and then family pressure and other things of society.

it's unfair for sure. i've tried bringing this to the media's attention but they were not interested.

2016 applicants might be luckier since mccallum has promised "major changes" this fall, but the remainder of the 2015 applicants are pretty much stuck in a tough spot. let's wait and see what happens with the november group.

remember that october applicants had their files opened before CIC committed to going back to the middle east for 6 weeks. the CIC is a black box and whatever i say is just speculation. no one can really tell how long november and december will have to wait. i just pray it's sooner than i guessed.

Can we try it again and come together all and make them aware about this issue that how one can live apart from spouse ?

I was thinking of applying for visit visa for my wife and child(10 months old). I recently submitted the application last month and i have not received AOR yet. I heard that they mostly reject the visit visa for spouse during sponsorship process and the main reason of rejection is to not have strong ties to Pakistan as they suspect that the spouse will not return. In our case
My wife is not working and does not have any property or bussiness on her name. so she does not have strong ties.

Do think is it worth trying? do you know of any case in which the spouse was given visa even after having weak ties to Pakistan?

Thanks

can someone please reply to this question?

Thanks

I am thinking to apply too but i have heard and my concern is that if you apply two applications(sponsor and Visit visa for same person/Spouse) then they delay spouse visa application.
