Received email from London VO today asking for 2 recent photographs of the applicant.

I already sent 9 photographs with the application. They say what we provided with the application don’t meet the requirements.

The only difference I see in the requirements is I had to put date of birth on back of one of the picture including Photographer stamp and date (requirement in country specific instructions), while in the new requirements they don’t ask to write date of birth (Only Photographer stamp and date this time).

That’s the only difference I see (Unless the photographer made a mistake) :-X :-X :-X

Did anyone else get the similar request? Any advice?

If you have full version of Adobe Acrobat, you can fill out the form on computer as well, but yeah hand written is acceptable too.

I have yet another question. In the additional forms for Pakistani Nationals in Residency Questionnaire Question No. 13 asks for the 'addresses and phone of of your sponsor since the time your sponsorship application was submitted.'

The application has not been submitted yet so I'm a bit confused. Are they asking about current address only?

Also, I heard about the delay in couriers due to Canada post. Will it be wiser to apply online?

The strike hasn't happened yet. If you are able to submit the application before mid-week, then you're safe. Best option is Purolator since you're able to track and see when it was received.

I didn't get any request yet, I don't know why it's being delyed, our case is simple and straightforward, no red flag, last notes I received, was generated on 12th May and it showed everything "Not Started" except paper file location was changed from "put Away" to "Case Anaylist"
My wife contacted MP on last Tuesday, but didn't get any reply yet!
Any idea/suggestions please?
Did anybody here about paper file location "Case Analyst" ?

Follow-up with MP with another email. I work with MP's offices quiet often (just met one of the MPs on Thursday) because of my work, and majority of the time, it's their secretaries/assistants who are looking into email inquiries. Following up with a professional and kind emails never hurts. If all else fails, call them.

I believe there was a recent (few months ago) update to the photo specification requirement. Retake the photos and send them ASAP. Don't get caught in the blame game or trying to trace who's at mistake. This would be the last few steps, so don't delay, act today!!

he's a may 2016 applicant. i believe LVO skims over applications to check them for completeness before putting them away for visa officer review.
