Hey Flx 2015. It happens man, all of a sudden there's a party with lots of passport requests, it gets everyone hopeful. And then it goes quiet, and suddenly back to reality.

don't know if i'm being too optimistic but i'm hoping for something by mid august; that's when i'll be at the 8.5 month mark. i'm currently at 7 months.

I think with this pace, I wouldn't be surprised if you receive PPR at the end of July at 8 month mark or even before. The latest burst of activity is giving us hope.

I want know if there is any short cut sponsoring your wife or she could be with you during all the processing period? for example, if she gets student visa by taking admission to any university/college?
Currently it has been declared for Pakistanies the duration of 28 months of processing...it is awkward. I am planning to leave and I think I will leave without marrying in Pakistan....

Dear Sir,
The duration 26 months shown by CIC is for the worst case scenario. If they pass 26 months then you can even involve prime minister office to get your application finalized.
Currently, for Pakistani applicants, it takes around 8 months to get a spouse visa application processed. Most of the applications submitted by October 2015 or before have been finalized.

I am getting married in pak soon. Question is about my spouse-to-be's cnic, passport and our nadra marriage cert.

From what I read both urdu nikkah nama and the nadra marriage certificate are required. To request nadra marriage cert, we would need to change marital status on cnic and passport to "married". Is that correct?

We dont care about name change. Does everyone gather these documents before their nikkah or after? Thanks.

No you don't have to change your marital status on your cnic to get the nadra certificate. You can get Nadra certificate from the union council right after your Nikah.

Thank you for your reply, it is a great relief to me as I was thinking the processing to be 3 years and cancelling my plans to marry in pakistan. So, I assume, after filing my case, I can get her landed by the end of one year period..If it takes a year in settling for me and 1 year to sponsor spouse, than two years period...not v.bad though

Urgent Help

hi can any one please confirm my medical is expiring on 25 July ( i did my medical on 25 July 2015) and my visa is expiring on 6 Sep 2016 , so do i have to land before my medical expiry or my visa expiry ??
