Due to a delay in getting back the original documents from LVO, some applicants avoid submitting original academic certificates (they submit the certified true copies).

considering this, would u suggest PA's to reorder the originals (from the corresponding offices) that we DID send in before coming to CDA? i.e. birth cirtificate, nikah nama etc in my case; in the occasion we need them for the future for our records or sum'in...???

It is getting really frustrating now. Interview was done one and half month ago. DM on 21st April and still no idea when they will ask for PPR. It is getting really annoying now :/

wow. now isnt this a whole lotta bullsh*t. pehle mola mola kerke DM i ga just to know PPR can potentially take another month or more hell gawd knows... :'(

I am also waiting for security checks to be completed. Had interview in march. I was told by my MP that I should get PPR in about 6 to 8 weeks from time of interview. Hopefully this long wait ends now. It's getting really depressing and frustrating! !!

my intw also was on 8th mar i saw some comment security checks takes 2 months hopefuly by 8 or 10 we get ppr request inshahallah...

Any idea about how to get Police Report in Islamabad?
I am being told to get it verified from Local Counselor, Then ASI, then SHO, then SSP the SP will verify it :-[ ???

Also please advise if Birth Certificate is must required? as I already have Maarrige Certificate by NADRA and Family Registration Certificate from NADRA!!!!

Pretty much what I my wife had to go through to get her police report. the final document was submitted to police assistance line and then they gave a final police report in english.

Need Feedback:

I'm April-2014 applicant (husband Case) and I'm still waiting for DM and passport request. Its been almost 25 months and still waiting..!!

My wife is here in Pakistan since last 3 months. Are they taking 28 months max. time for Pakistani spousal cases?

What should I do now? Should i contact with Canadian government authorities? If yes, can anyone help me to provide their contact details (contact numbers and email address) so I can call them and write them an email? May be they could help us to expedite our process.

It's really frustrating.

Marriage certificate from Nadra should be OK but you need to send the English translation of your URDU Nikah nama (Nikah nama issued from the union council).

Originals need not to be notarized but photo copies are supposed to be certified true copies.

I have a related query! Mine Original Nikkah is already in English. Do i also need to provide the translated version too?

Today I have checked my online ECas status and it showed decision made but in detail it doesn't show any new comments like VO will connect u on decision made etc.I did 2nd re-medical on 19th April and they told me that result will be uploaded in a week then its up to VO when to review it. I haven't get any e mail or letter yet for PPR1 or PPR2 request any comments on how long it takes after decision made to get response from London visa office and do I still be doubt on my application approval until I get PPR1 request.
