Ya my status is still showing In Process.. No DM yet.. Last week I sent email to my Visa officer .. And asked him abut my aplication status with the subject Urgent on it.. And Mashallah today without any DM I received email of passport request.. Cant wait to see my husband..

I would suggest everyone who is waiting for more than the processing time (17 months), to email / snail-mail to Honorable Prime Minister or his Immigration Cabinet Minister Honorable John McCallum.

I did the same and finally received PPR by the grace of Allah.

Can anyone share their experience or any idea how much time LVO is taking to process spouse's application these days? Its been 10 months since the application is submitted but did not heard anything back from them.

btw congrats hs64 on the unexpected turn of events...PPR w/out DM. another something people'l flip about now in the future...

a couple quick question off DM topic:
1. are PCC's requested again too? the expiry of a PK PCC is 1 year from date of issue right?i heard ppl that had interviews bringing in fresh PCC's to hand in...so jw. yo did n1 get asked for new PCC as additional doc request due to expiry?
2. what is conditional PR in detail & how does it affect u if ur married/succesfully landed? kids vs no kids? kinda confused & wud like to know a bit more about it.

R u an applicant of oct 2014???im also an applicant of oct 2014 and case is still in process.they asked for some additional documents in feb which i have sent them.no more update since then..but im in canada on visit visa(i got 1 yr multiple entry visa)

nope, i applied oct 2015 & no docs request yet - how long did it take for u to get that visit visa while ur app was still IP?
