Few days ago a member shared a thread on Sunday that he received the passport request...I don't know whether he received it on Sunday or shared a thread on Sunday...but I remember the sentence he wrote that "today I got the passport request"

Thanks. I got the passport request on a Saturday but was hoping to get a notification to pick it up today.

need urgent help.
I am married october , but unable to apply my file due a problem. I have lived in UAE Sharjah frpm 2011 to 2015 on job visa. but once in 2012 I was get in problem on sharjah airport got robbed and lost my passport and all lauguge.
at end with police report from police get new passport.
2015 mid I cancel my visa and came back to PAKISTAN. now I applied for police certificate but ministry of interior UAE said I need active visa and ID of UAE to get police certificate.
its 4 month I didnt apply file due to this problem.
one of friend in Canada says I should make new passport without UAE entry stamps and visa and apply according to him UAE and Canada have no sharing of this all and they didnt check in this deep all.
now please advice what should
I am worried due to this all.
please if someone ever exrienced this type of problem let me know.

What date did you submit your passport? We are waiting to collect passport, submitted on 22/02/2016, Delivered to CHC ISB on 23/02/2016.

jw, not that i want one but for interview, what if ur not with ur spouse at that time like not even in pakistan? the interview is obv done in islamabaad, im assuming?
any ideas from experienced people.

Take my words, don't ever listen to such friends or family members advice... Never Ever Lie to any Govt. Official, specially north Americans.. They will Definitely find out you old passport info.. again, Be honest with your application; and by any chance you lie to the Canadian Immigration, and they find your old passport info, which say you lied, and didn't tell them, man you will be in big trouble, I mean big means BBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGG trouble, may be a 10 years bar to apply or may be for life.. so take my advice never ever lie, and do tell the truth, and you will be happy in the end.

Well, I don't know why they (UAE) aren't giving you the PCC(Police Clearance Certificate), if you have the correspondence with the UAE Officials then I believe provide that correspondence with Sponsorship Application, and also an affidavit(notarized) to CIC. I believe Sincerity/Truth will prevail in the end.

Trust me they wont reject it. They ask for additional documents if they find anything is missing and give you time to submit that document.
I would suggest going to Dubai for a weekend and getting it made from Dubai police HQ

So lots of us have sent our passports at the same time (20-29 Feb)
Do post here as soon as you get your passport back so the others know how much time it took and when we should expect our passports too.
