I emailed them today the Original Nikkah Nama

Does it really necessary to post them these docs too???

How did you "EMAILED" "original" Nikkah nama...? All original documents should be physically mailed to LVO. Scans etc would all serve as a copy.

Not necessarily. In our case they asked for "A copy of your original Urdu Nikah Nama with an English translation".

Originally, I thought the same and sent them an urgent email (with a scan of our original Nikah Nama attached) asking them if I should send the original Nikah Nama via mail to London.

They replied around 20 days later to let me know they had placed the information on file. Another 11 days after this, our eCAS status changed to Decision Made.

I guess it can't hurt to send them the original in the mean while but it might not be necessary?

I am new to this forum, could anyone please help me out with my issue. my file is in CPC Ottawa for the last 2 months or so. haven't heard anything from them, i have few quick questions if anybody one could help me out please, much appreciated

my Tim-line is

Feb 2010----- filled the case for spousal/daughter sponsorship
July 2012--------- medical done and landing fee submitted
Nov 28 2012 ----- refusal ( because i spent about 18 months with my wife back home, so they thought my ties were not with Canada
April 2013 ------- appeal filled
June 2013 ------- send to full hearing ( after IAD)
Nov 2015--------- Appeal won
Dec 5th 2015------ file sent to CPC Ottawa
waiting since then ....?


1. After I won the appeal my file went to CPC Ottawa No response after that
2. is my file would be in Islamabad or London ?
3. does anyone has the contact information for London Visa office. Please provide
.
what should I do now

They will provide u interpreter if u mention that in form... U dnt hav to do anything jus relax.

I had a same question as I could just email it to them, I tried to contact the LVO but did not get a reply so I contacted CPC Call centre in Canada and they told me to mail a copy to CPC Mississauga as i had the Nikah nama with me in Canada with the file # information so to be safe I emailed the LVO and I mailed it to CPC Mississauga as well as i did not have final answer from LVO if the email was good enough. hope that helps, to be safe send a copy to CPC Mississauga if you have it with you.

I am already too late I emailed them all the proofs and everything they asked in late November and mail was delivered on 8th December except this nikkah nama as I thought marriage registration certificate is enough and it was written in email I received on 11th November with or sign so I thought either one would serve the purpose but after reading different comments here I came to know it's an important paper to be submitted to LVO...

So I did it yesterday but unluckily I don't have the copy with me I got a picture from my union council and forwarded them but meanwhile union council secretary gave me the copy of nikkah nama with his sign and stamp

That's y I m bit reluctant to post them the Copy

Don't know what to do...

You seem to be quite right ND that's what I thought because they clearly state in confirmation email that if u have emailed any new information it will be updated to ur case automatically

So I feel they don't really need it in mail

first email
Dear Applicant,

We would like to inform you that your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 11 Feb 2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.

then she got second email:

Your processed passport has been dispatched 11/02/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre, Lahore. Please collect between 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday

BTW she did not got any call or SMS.

I am assuming the passport already at VFS Lahore. My wife will go to VFS Lahore tomorrow to collect.

salam my interview was held feb 9th 2016 in abu dhabi visa office and thay take my passport and officer told me that she will call me after 2 days that she will stmp visa or she want more time to cheek background then the next morning 10th of feb she call me that i will retrun your passport but with visa. and i just want to know that when she retrun me how much time its take because i can bor track any thing i will not submit passport she take after interview. also she want to enter me in canada before 2nd april because my medical will expire. and i am litle worried some boday told me thay take 30 days some time 40 days to stmp visa. i am working here i also want to cancel my visa and its take 15 to 20 days to canacel my visa of uae. of she give me before 20th feb its good but if she give me after 20th feb then its a big problum for me i cont call embassy thay will also may not reply of email i dnt know what will happend and also one more question that thay will cheek my background or not more because officer said that we will give you passport with visa so its means know hust visa stamp process no more cheek and how much time total its take to end the process please answer my question

Got an email that passport is ready to be picked up at vfs Lahore, will be picking it up on Monday.
Thanks God this journey with fear of unknown is over. Getting a flight booked for 21/22nd from Lahore via Dubai & London. Any other suggestions with less lay overs & wait times would be appreciated otherwise it's almost final.
