Hi,

It usually takes a tad longer than a month for them to send in acknowledgement/correspondence once you have filed the case. As to your question about using a representative - Yes, the correspondence shall be going to him/her.

Also, using a representative doesn't have an impact on the processing time.. Ideally, a sound representative helps you get everything in order before the case is filed (In terms of forms, proofs etc), but once it is filed, there isn't much he/she can do.

I think hes on long vaction i went to see the mp too but didnt got any response frm thier either

salam to all i have a question that today i pass my interview and thay take my passport also abu dhabi visa office. but also officer told me that thay cheek my background so how is possible she take my passport also and know background cheek also. and before interview thay not cheek any thing about my background. and she also told me maybe we not cheek any thing and give you visa. i am not confrim about condation know but i pass in interview this is clear so what thay cheek know in background.

Hey do you know who is your visa officer?

No body knows the names, only the initials we know, as when they sent any correspondence they sent normally an email or a letter, in which they sign their initials only, no names. At first the AOR letter came from CPC-M, and had no initials in it, then the LVO contacted, and the first correspondence started by the initials as JS, then the notoriously slow officer with the initials SXB, started the correspondence in Nov. 2015. Just yesterday seen my ecase for Permanent Residence Application Status, which shows Decision Made, used to be In Process for long time. So that's how we know our officer, not by name but but their initials only.

Always keep your information up-to-date with CIC. Just write an email, and let them know your current address, if your file is with your corresponding visa office, if you have just sent your file to CPC-M, then you better wait for corresponding from them; again if you have given the email information for correspondence, then its ok to wait for visa office confirmation, otherwise better inform CPC-M for your current address, because lets say you didn't give email address, and there is a big mistake with your application and CPC-M wants to send it back to you for correction, then in that case they will simply send your complete package to the address provided in the form, and that's how you might loose your package. So its better let know the CPC-M your current address.

Alhamdolillah my wife got notification that her processed passport has been sent to the Lahore VFS from Islamabad.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get to the Lahore VFS? It is evening in Pak right now but is it likely to get there by tomorrow?

Can one of the admins kindly update my info on the spreadsheet?
