Salam to all of you lovely husbands/wives. I admire your patience and I just want to remind you that the wait won't last forever, one day you will be reunited with your spouse and it will be amazing. I wanted to share a little bit about me and my timeline, and I am looking for some advice.

ECAS says my application started being processed (after sponsor eligibility) August 2014
Birth certificate of daughter: sent in April 2015
Sent additional documents/pictures: January 4th, 2016
Re-medical request: Jan 19th, 2016
Interview request: Jan 19th, 2016 (both emails sent at the same time)
Scheduled interview: March 8th, 2016

I am sponsoring my husband. They want an interview and remedical, I feel like it is unusual of them to ask for both things at once. Anyways, any tips or comments would be appreciated. Would my husband have to bring a police certificate from Pakistan and Dubai (he lived there for 6+months)? And what else would he have to bring? How much after the interview do they ask for PPR1?

By urgent email you mean to just write in the Subject line of the email as "Urgent"?

usually whats the turnaround time for ppr after DM status comes up? Also do they send passport request letter via email or by actual mail?

i will say wait untill sunday...If you receive no response, send them CSE on monday iether "reminder" or "urgent".

Alhumdullillah! I got the email for my husbands PPR.

Just a tip for all our members... if you see that everyone is getting a response but you are not getting anything from LVO then please send an inquiry to LVO.

My file got delayed twice. Once it got delayed because the first officer had some concerns, I found that out through GCMC notes. But, by the time, I got the notes back from the CIC, it was cleared by second officer. There were two months added in this process. Then after the Re-Med was done on November 9 2015, I sent an inquiry on the second week of December. On the second week of January, we found out that Physician Panel in Karachi missed my file. Either they did not submit it or Delhi office did not receive it. My husband went to Karachi Physician Panel office and requested them to resubmit the results. After that, in a week, I received a DM and after 3 days, I received the PPR.

Once again, thank you everyone who helped me and encouraged me to send inquires to LVO. It worked.

My wife is the applicant and in Pakistan and i am the sponsor. Our case is being processed in London. Sharing my timeline from Ecas online inquiry.


1 - We received your application for permanent residence on February, 2014.
2 - We started processing your application on March, 2014.
3 - Medical results have been received.
4 - We sent you medical instructions on January, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5 - We sent you correspondence on October 30, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
6 - Decision Made (January 06 2016)

After the 4th instructions, we got pregnant and we had to notify CIC about the pregnancy. Our son was born in Pakistan in April 2015 and we added him to the application by sending all the related documentation. we received a letter about requiring more documentation and new medical for both my wife and for my son in October 2015 that was the time when that number 5 in the timeline was updated. we sent all the requested documents in December and within a week number 6 - Decision Made was updated. mind you decision made is only showing on the main page of online status and by click on it we are getting the first 5 instructions of the timeline.
my question is that on the basis of my time line does any one has any idea how far our application has reached and how long would it take for us to get the next instructions/letter from London Visa office.
i would really appreciate an answer on this.

Decision Made is a good sign. next step will be receiving PPR. which normally comes within a week or 15 days and for some people also 4 weeks. so i would say wait at least 4 weeks and then send them a case specific inquiry.

I am in same situation. I sent docs on nov 4th ...since then waiting...sent an urgent case inquiry but got no reply. Notes received everything looks good .....I don't know what the dealt is

PLEASE.... Tell me when did you file your application? Mine was on 24th June 2014..... Was sent to LVO on 26th August 2014.... I'm in interview que , but did not get any email from visa office yet .... Any one else got mail for interview in March???
