Firstly, congratulations on receiving the PPR yourself and sending in you passport for visa issuance! =)

I received my PPR today! and plan on sending in my passport to Islamabad through the Lahore office in a couple of days! How was the service at the VAC Lahore office for you?

From what i gather through this forum, they are sending back passports within 2 weeks or so.. Even less in some cases.. So hopefully inshaAllah you should be able to get yours back in around 10 days or so.

My time line : spouse visa
Aplication rec : 28 sept 2015

Sponsor applroval : 2 dec 2015
E cas : in process
Additional docs req: quebec slection certificate

As they asked me quebec slection certificate to send them within 45 days i already applied quebec slection certificate which is now 3 week gone
Its look strange because ussualy quebec immigaration send quebec slection certificate directaly to LvO why the asked me to send them by post ????,

I've read a lot around the forum about quebec forwarding the csq to the respective visa office and many times quebec does not end up sending it, and the visa office then ends up asking the sponsor to send it....I also have applied for my hubby's csq last week, and I will send it to LVO once I get it.

Ohh and btw, I did send in a Case Specific Inquiry on the 13th of January.. I am not sure whether that led to the PPR coming my way today, but still wanted you guys to know!

I have a question for anyone who can answer it. My eCAS has shown Decision Made since late December and have yet to receive a PPR email. Is it fair to sent in a Case Specific Inquiry? I've been told to bother the VO as little as possible so I'm a little hesitant to send a case specific inquiry..

Send an Inquiry! Have you paid the RPRF?

Hi Bubbles, yes I have paid the RPRF. They asked for a copy of our nikah nama with the english translation on November 11, 2015. I replied to their request with a scanned copy of our nikah nama attached. Since I had picked up the nikah nama in Canada, it was in both english and urdu. I explained this to them and received correspondence from them on December 11 saying that they have added this to our file and no further action is required from us.

I was actually in Pakistan in December, and was enjoying my time with my wife so much that I forgot to keep checking online . So some time between December 11 and December 27 our status changed to decision made.

Xpresspost is the worst service and I am saying that from personal experience. The Canada post delivery system does not take any responsibility. You could check their website and try t track by the number they provided but Good luck if you could get some info. You should have used DHL or UPS for this kind of delivery.

You are right, Canada post sucks. It's been one 1 week exactly today, no update on their website, still says in transit. Even if you call them, they have no clue. Will definitely use UPS or DHL if necessary.

Guys , you're right. But do call them and explain the whole process . I sent my correspondence via registered mail service of Canada Post and after it reached London they'd no clue where it went but when I called them , within 3 days mail was delivered . So call them and ask them and make sure your documents had been dropped off

File Transferred to LVO /Approval of Sponsor : 18th Jan 2016

I'm Aug 2013 applicant and still waiting . Well they transfer my file from ISL to London in Jan 2014 and my visa officer is LJF .

Did You Had rukhsati if yes, have you send them enough proofs , have you had medical done ....if all has been done then please send Case specific Inquiry because it really very long time . May Allah Help you
