Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Spouse visa application for a lot of members of this forum was decided in about 6 months.

You can check time line on the following link for precise information

Islamabad office is not taking any new applications after 2012, 47 months is the time for the people who are blocked from years.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

HEY everyone!
So i submitted my application package on 20/10/2015 and just received an email just today (10/12/2015) i.e. after 50 days approx, stating that:

"This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2015/10/20."

what's gonna happen now? when to expect the next email & what will it be about?
can someone give me a breakdown with expected processing times of the next few steps?

Thanks a lot. :)

URGENT!! COPR ERROR...

My friend got his COPR and Passport back (he got PPR on 12 Nov 2015). However, There are errors in COPR, Travel document Country of ISSUE is INDIA instead of Pakistan..Also his eye color is written wrong...

Now he has literally given 2 days to land (perhaps becoz of his medical which was expiring on 11 Dec 2015). What should he supposed to do now..
He has contacted ISB and LND embassy....but no reply yet...

any thoughts by senior /experience member would be appreciated in this regard

I think he should land and at the port of entry tell them about the mistake and since he did not have much time he travelled, hopefully they will fix it at that point.

good Luck

Thanks for the quick reply. But wouldn't it be wise to wait for the email from embassy as the mistake is from their end. And they will definitly now extend the EXPIRY date?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Expert opinion needed,

I got email today that my file is transferred to London.

Now I want to apply for my wife's visit visa. Please tell me is it wise to apply for visit visa while my wife's sponsorship file is in process.
Is it going to effect my sponsorship application? If its completely fine to apply for visit visa then what are the steps to be taken to make case for visit visa strong.

Any expert advise will be highly appreciated.
